This place is hands down The Business! What an amazing venue and view, well presented the Trainee that waited us did a outstanding job service was next level. Now for the food and cocktails. You can watch your food streak being Grilled by the Masters themselves steak was so soft I could have used a butter knife to cut it! My Partner had the Seafood and I just had to try some It tasted like MORE! The The Bar tender also whips up an amazing Cocktail!!! If I could give 6 starts I would great staff really a true steakhouse experience!! Thank you to everyone on the night.

This is s as great place for a steak dinner. Not everyone in our party wanted steak but there was a selection of other dishes. The staff were very helpful and service was good. My steak was cooked to order and was excellent. Other members of our party of 4 enjoyed the grilled Atlantic salmon and the chicken Parma. The fisherman’s basket was rather average.

Steakhouse 66 at New Quay Promenade, Docklands serves modern Australian menu with great range of dishes. Suits both casual and more formal dining. Floor to ceiling windows boasts waterfront location view of Melbourne’s picturesque waterfront. Steakhouse 66 caters every need. Perfect destination venue for any celebration or occasion. Staff are friendly and attentive. Enjoyable range of cocktails and wine prepared by talented & chic Belinda 🍸🍹🍷🍺🥂🥃🍻🍾☕🍵🥤 Highly recommended

This once trustworthy restaurant has really deteriorated. The service is patchy albeit the servers are friendly when you do get their attention but don’t expect empty glasses to be a signal that you may like a refill.. we ordered oysters as entree and they were very nice. We ordered scotch fillets for mains and were surprised they charged extra if you wanted chips and salad as their $49 price point includes either chips or salad but not both. Also if you want a sauce it too is extra. This a 250g scotch fillet with chips and salad and pepper sauce will set you back $64. O’k so if that’s what you pay and the atmosphere and surroundings and service create a special night, then we don’t mind paying that amount. Take a look at the pics. Seriously? Who is in charge with plating up in the kitchen???? A personal message to you - you ought to be ashamed of yourself and your professional standards. Our meals looked like they were dished out by a school cafe. We had to send one back as it was not cooked as ordered and all they did was recoil the same steak they originally sent and sent it back out. Just a sign of a kitchen with no pride. Sorry guys, if we could give no stars we would. I look at your promotional images and them look at the meals served up to us and wondered if we ate at the same restaurant?? The fact that neither of us could finish the small steaks due to quality is also disappointing. We own a unit nearby and this has always been a favourite of ours but we appreciate honesty in reviews because of you attend this restaurant you will be spending $$$$ so need to assess whether you will get good service, quality and ambience if you do. Sadly, you will not experience either at Steakhouse 66.

Had a dinner here today. What do I say about the experience. Had steaks that were definitely awesome. No doubt about it. Just feel that the sides should have better options than just fries or garden salad. There were other sides but they come with additional price which is a bit too much when the food is already a bit costly. Anyway, had coke for drink which came with too much ice in a thin glass. That's again sort of a rip off. What bothered me a lot was that our order came in around 70 minutes. They somehow FORGOT to serve our order!!! After seeing us sitting on an empty table for so much time, one of their staff members came up to enquire what we were waiting for. And all this happened despite having a reservation here a week before. Cutting long story short, they apologised repeatedly and also to compensate, gave us some discount on our final bill. You can come here to enjoy a good steak but perhaps coming on a weekend night is just not right!
