Great little cafe. Friendly service, nice range of coffees, milks, teas & a smooth hot choc blend. Take away & drink in.
Has sweet pastries like tarts & croissants alongside gozleme (made on site).
Will definitely be back.

Cute little coffee shop in middle of Melbourne. Very European feel. Lovely pastries and food. Very quick to make coffees and friendly staff. Would be nice to have some background music to create a bit more ambience. Otherwise was a nice cosy place to stop for a bite and coffee.

Cute cafe in the middle of Melbourne in a quiet alley. Staff were friendly and service was quick, which was greatly appreciated cause I was very hungry! Coffee and food were amazing! Highly recommend

Open Sundays so that is a bonus.
Ordered a hot choc medium size which I thought was well below scale / standard size.
Grabbed a sausage roll for good measure.
Both were nice, but my assessment would be under sized and over priced at $12.

This has become my new favourite for meetings, quiet breaks and Sunday treats. It's open for coffee until 5pm 7 days a week, what a find! The name refers to the cafe's position on Little Bourke St rather than indicating it's a French cafe - there's great French pastries made fresh daily but you'll find the menu also has a good range of breakfast and lunch meals to choose from with something for everyone including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options.

We had takeaway from YOUR store but we got told off for drinking it there. The owners came out and told us off that we were not allowed to drink take away coffee there despite it being their own coffee.
Why?? What’s the big deal? You had plenty of tables? Not many people was waiting. You were also rude about it. What if I want to get take away because I might have to leave soon but haven’t finished my coffee? I would get it in a takeaway cup. How can you be so unreasonable about that and also then go on to be so rude about it.
Also gave me an ice cold croissant too. No thanks.

Cute cafe hidden on a quiet street with tasty pastries. That’s about it for the positive. We were doing a walking tour and decided to pick up coffee here as we were passing by. Initially we intended to takeaway and we informed the staff, however, after ordering some additional snacks, we decided to sit and eat. There was plenty of seating available, the cafe wasn’t busy and we didn’t think it was a big deal. Midway through (we didn’t even stay 10min), the owner comes out to us and reprimands us loudly for not telling them we were going to sit and eat. We were taken aback by how aggressive she was and we honestly didn’t see why it was a big deal - the cafe wasn’t busy? The owners need a reality check, there’s clearly a pattern if you read other reviews.

unfortunately me and my friends had a very bad experience.
We got told off for drinking take away while sitting down when there were barely any others in this cafe.
Then I got served a normal latte instead of oat milk.
When I came back to ask to get a new one they gave me an attitude for making sure they got my order right. Left without the coffee after that.
Worst experience I’ve ever had at a cafe.
Maybe they can use the money I left for the coffee I didn‘t get to better this situation :)
