Eureka 89

Such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived all the staff were so lovely to us and completely on top of anything we could possibly need. We had the 7 course chefs tasting menu and I had the wine pairing with it, which was so lovely! The courses were well thought out and carefully curated to match the pairings perfectly! Although we are in a covid world and managing the supply chain is impossible, I really loved tasting and hearing about the Victorian sourced wines (I might have to visit the wineries too!). They were even able to swap out a certain dish due to dietary requirements and pair another wine with the new dish! I have to say, Christine was such a lovely server, very kind and attentive to anything we could possibly need - she even treated us to some lovely macaroons her boyfriend makes!! Christine, if you're reading this, thank you so much for making my belated birthday so special! It was truely an experience I will never forget!!

LOCATION The location is amazing and the view from here is absolutely spectacular. FOOD We chose a 7 course chef’s testing menu. The food was delicious and they have a good option for vegetarian. I suggest the staff to keep the food hot because two of my dishes were cold and you don’t expect this from the fine dining restaurant. The 7th meal was a dish with cheese, nuts and grapes and we didn’t appreciate, not what you really expect in this kind of restaurant. SERVICE The staff was friendly, Chloe was very kind and we appreciated the dessert with wishes for our wedding anniversary.

When it comes to a special event, Eureka 89 is always a wonderful place to celebrate at! It is one of our favorite restaurants. The City Skyline views are absolutely spectacular. The food is beautifully presented and very delicious. Also importantly, the service was excellent, which we remember very fondly. My recent birthday celebration at Eureka 89 was very memorable and we were so fortunate to have Christine look after us in a professional and friendly manner. This made our experience special. We did not expect anything special, but Christine offered us a special complimentary dessert wine to celebrate my birthday at the end. What a perfect night to cherish. Eureka 89 is highly recommended to dine at as it always leaves us with great memories. We are looking forward for our next visit.

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was SO fine!!! The views are lush, the lighting is perfect, the staff are appropriately wonder and the food is AMAZING! Spoil yourself and get the paired wines too, you won’t regret it. A wonderful and memorable experience to treasure. P.S. Thanks Marco for being the best waiter ever! 😊❤️🙏

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had, especially as a long-term foodie! Both the food and service was phenomenal; the waiters were so kind and genuine, the main course melted into our mouths, the views were stunning and the ambience was extraordinary. Christine was such an amazing supervisor, being aware that it was my boyfriends birthday, she went out of her way to provide us with the best experience. We did not expect the complimentary dessert wine and a lovely birthday message on the dessert! Would definitely come again and try out the 7 course as we went on a Sunday :)

Came here for dinner and it is one of the best dinings experience in Melbourne so far for me. The view is magnificent, the food is tremendous and we had Karen for our table server. She is so nice and so calm, she has taken a good care for our table. The Team customer service here also the nicest team I have ever seen. If you have chance, give Eureka 89 a try because it is a must.

Food was great. The view was exceptional. Love all the cocktails and wines. At first I didn’t think it was gonna be filling with their food, but I was totally wrong!! By the end of 7 courses you will be very full. Staff were not that knowledgeable with the food when I asked about it- but that’s okay. They are very attentive and friendly. It was a really great experience, highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time at Eureka 89 with the 7 course degustation. It was absolutely art in the mouth how they balanced flavours and textures, let alone the visual art with how they plated the dishes. The spanner was a nice fresh option to start. The second dish, a celeriac with foam, I thought was going to be difficult to beat, but the lobster bisque with the cod was divine and both the quail and beef dishes just got better the further into the dish you ate. The dessert was creative and delicious. Jazzy, our server, was attentive and lovely. While appreciating the different approaches other restaurants in Melbourne take on degustations, personally I appreciate Eureka 89’s the most.
