Best Mexican food around being from San Diego I've been looking for something like this. Cazadores is also good if your beach side.

This was some great authentic Mexican Food. We had the California Burrito, Chicken Mole and Beef Chimichanga and they were all fantastic as was the guacamole and chips. Now the desserts...fried ice cream and churros were absolutely amazing!!

Great atmosphere, cozy and clean, food was really tasty, service was friendly and prompt, definitely recommend. Update: even better the second time. Love the chimichanga.

One of the best Mexican places I’ve ever been to in my life. Very clean very good food and the owners are aware of any allergies or food restrictions that you have. They make their own salsa which is spectacular.

Update: 25 Aug 2023. New place on Aurora, just opened. Food here was also good and service was good.
Original: May 2016. Family owned and operated – friendly service, good sized portions and very tasty food. The queso appetizer was a little thin (thickened up well after it cooled) and had little bits of jalapenos that had a fiery kick. Pollo a la Crema had big pieces of chicken and crema was rich and thick. The shrimp in the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo were large, fresh/snappy but I would have preferred more garlic flavor. Sopapillas rounded out the meal with a great sweet taste. The menu is full of great selections – we’ll certainly be back to try other things.

Finally, an authentic Mexican restaurant that has a great menu and even better pricing! If you haven't found this place yet... start looking and get there. Great Staff, Great Food, Great Prices... How can you go wrong!?!

Super restaurant. It is much larger inside than it looks on the outside. Our meal was great and the portions were perfect. Wait staff was in top notch form. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

This place is adorable! Interior is so beautiful and welcoming. Large! You are provided complimentary chips, salsa & refried beans the moment you sit down. The owner is very pleasant and positive. Great vibes all around!

Thought this was a little roadside takeout - was surely surprised when I went inside. Freshly painted & festively decorated. Very clean restaurant. Nice atmosphere, personable friendly staff- very attentive without hovering. Creamy refried beans, delicious queso & chips; lunch was Mexican burrito & enchilada dinner. Muy delicioso! Prices are great - a lot of food - great value & taste. Five stars for sure! We will be back.
