La Cubanita Sandwich

Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. I loved it so much that I went back and ordered it again for 4 days in a row during a recent visit to Melbourne. The owners are wonderful, they welcomed me back on my second visit and seem to always to be checking in with their customers to make sure everything is just right.

Absolutely delicious! Simple and yet almost perfect! The bread? Toasty yet soft The cheese? Gooey and what a cheese pull! The meat? Flavorful and fresh One of the best Cubans I have had in a while. Presentation is a bit lacking and that’s the only reason this isn’t a 5/5 BUT the flavor and portion size is great! The hot sauce is just a unique addition and has changed how I want a Cuban in the future.

This place is only about 5 mins from MLB. This place has some authentic Cuban food and I happened to find it by accident. I got an Original Cuban, half size and it was pretty big. I had 4 different Cuban sandwiches while on my trip in Florida and this is hands down the best. I also got a empanada, guava and cheese pastry, and a Cuban bread to go. The bread made it all the way back to Maryland and was only $2.50. Definitely make the trip out to try the food here!

Amazing World Famous Cuban Sandwhich - full size - $10.99 - fed both me and my boyfriend. The Cuban bread of the sandwiches is just so scrumptious. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Empanadas were out of this world! Guava and cheese pastry was worth the trip all on its own. I can’t say enough nice things about this mom and pop owned and run business. Food is made with loving hands and attention - High quality food, satisfying portions, very reasonably priced! I want to try the cafe con leche and the Media Noche sandwich next!
