Buckleup Buttercup - This place is very flavorful! Yummy! The people are super friendly and helpful. They walked us thru the menu and answered all of our questions. The food came out piping hot! They have some of the best potatoes that I have ever had! Small potatoes, perfectly crispy on the outside and buttery delicious on the inside. How do they do that? Don't know, but I will be back for more. The Breakfast Poutine is huge! Super cheesy and seasoned well. WOW! The Chicken and Waffles are not traditional at all... sweet and sassy! They offer a wide assortments of beverages. Next time I will save room for the Mimosa Flight! Looks amazing!

Ordered takeout from here this morning and I couldn’t wait to write a review. Everything was excellent. We ordered the chicken & waffles, the biscuits & gravy, and the eggs Benedict. All of them were fantastic. The only thing I would do differently is order the bacon on the side of the chicken and waffles. For me personally that bacon was so good but so distinct in flavor that it was a bit to strong as part of the dish. That’s just me though. Others may love it. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great little place for local dishes. We have tried their brunch and lunch options. Burgers use extra thick home made patties, nice buns and I particularly like the beef and blue. For brunch the mimosa flight is a great way to sample some unique flavors and find your favorite. There's so many options there's something for every palate. I like to sample the biscuits and gravy everywhere I go, and this was one of the best downtown. The griddle sandwich was unique and tasty. Definitely worth checking out.

Simply Delicious! Everything about my breakfast was perfect and to my liking - eggs cooked just right, tasty potatoes and not overly seasoned, and toast perfect with just the right amount of butter - not slathered on. And the service! Jessica was very pleasant, attentive, and very accommodating. This place is just a few steps off the New Haven Ave main drag. You really owe it to yourself to give it a try. You won’t regret it!

This is the first time we went to Roots. The food was good but a little pricey for what you actually get, probably due to the rising cost and inflation. The staff were friendly. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it took quite a while to be seated, especially when there were 3 open tables. Food took a while but you can tell it was fresh. Then it took a very long time to get the bill. Other than that we will give it a second try.

We visited this restaurant back in March for my birthday. We discovered it by accident when the wait to our original choice was over an hour. But let me tell you it did not disappoint! The fabulously expansive mimosa menu to the wonderful breakfast, it couldn't have turned our day around any faster. The pleasant waitress recommended me what is now my new favorite mimosa and if I could have it every day for the rest of my life I could probably die happy! Blueberry coconut mimosa❤️ please let me have the recipe xD
