It feels like you got pulled straight into the 50s, and its great! I love the food, the atmosphere, and the banter.
The subs are great, and they're loaded up with meats. I typically get a whole sub even though I won't eat the entire thing. When you ask Don to wrap up your sub to-go he'll call you a lightweight.

Don’s hoagies deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Quality has been the same for the past 30 years, excellent. If there is a review on here less than 5 stars disregard it.

These hoagies were awesome! We ordered small #1 and they were very generous in size. The Italian style hoagie is classic. It brings a perfect balance of spices from the salami, sweet ham, and tangy vinaigrette. Delicious! The prices are very reasonable too. Great place with good kind service and traditional hoagies.

Went in put in my order and they made them fresh and I was out the door in 10 minutes. The bread was fresh and all the ingredients. Will definitely go back soon.

I had never been here but a neighbor wanted to stop in. We got there just prior to them becoming very busy! Both of us had wonderful sandwiches that were freshly prepared and were delicious!! Will definitely return.

I've been wanting to get here to eat forever. Finally, the wait is over, and all i can say is WOW... This place reminds me of a NY deli. It was like being back home in NYC. The hogues were so tasty, bread was fresh and not dry. Meat portions were great.Hogie sizes are huge. I could only eat half. The Macaroni salad was by far the best i ever had, (Don't tell my nanny i said that.) The staff was unbelievably friendly. Greeted as soon as we walked in the door. If you're in Melbourne, this is your MUST GO TO spot for a sub/Hogie.... You will not be disappointed. I could eat here every day for lunch or dinner. Next time (Today), I'm gonna get the City Hall hogie.

I had only been told of this place…it’s not located where everything else is, and I like that. Getting to the point, a place your kids and family will love. My wife had the split pea soup and corned beef (raved over all of it), I got the “Challenger” - glorious stack of high quality meats. It all tasted fantastic. This is a place you have to go to.

Loved it. Came during lunch rush on a Friday afternoon. It’s your classic no frills sandwich deli. They were slammed so I had to wait a bit for my sandwich but I did not mind. Got the super Italiano with everything on it and a side of macaroni salad. Sandwich was amazing and huge. Macaroni was good but a little sweet which isn’t my preference. Family establishment, the owner Don was making sandwiches so that was cool. All the folks working there were nice. Highly recommend
