This place is by far the best Greek food shop in Melbourne! The Gyro is so good I had to stop and make sure I was still in Florida! It's a family-owned establishment, Papa is at the grill and Mama is at the register. I can't say enough about this place except why haven't I come here before?!?!?! All this for $12.50! Best lunch in Melbourne bar none. Parking out front is tough, but plenty of spots out back.

The food is wonderful and the proprietors are absolutely adorable. Their roasted potatoes were delicious. I will go out of my way to eat here again!

Delicious food and lovely couple who owns the place. The portions are a nice size, the price is affordable and the food tastes fresh. I wasn’t aware we had a Mediterranean/Greek place in the area like this one, 100% chance I’ll be coming back for more. If you like gyros or this type of food I’d highly recommend it!

My boyfriend and I have driven by this place a hundred times, and finally decided to stop in and try it. We had one chicken and one original gyro with potatoes, and got a Baklava and a Kataifi to enjoy later. The portions were so generous for the price, and everything was delicious! We will definitely be back. :)

To the point? Teddy and his wife Adriane bring authentic Greek flavors together in a fresh way. The real deal. Yours truly and my co-diner both ordered the Teddy's Greek Salad. THE most flavor-fULL dressing ever to grace a bowl of nature's plenty. A flavor explosion co-mingled with feta's tarty sweet taste. Munch on or dip a pie-shaped pita into the pool of liquid gold oil-soaked salad castaway nuggets. Okay, I think I will! And a slender slice of watermelon to freshen your mouth. Teddy AND Adriane were treating us not only like friends, but almost as honorary Greeks. VERY cordial, accommodating and likeable. Fact. Watching Teddy in the kitchen was entertaining. Cone-shaped Gyro meat revolving on a vertical skewer, a meat feast cooked to perfection. Teddy slices or shaves simply succulent chunks of that juiciness for sandwiches. For salads. I give a huge shoutout and say "Opa!"

Great place to get Greek food. My only compliant is sometimes parking is tuff. But the quality of food makes me not even care. Also they have gluten free pita bread that is very good! Their bagged potato chips are also labeled gluten free.

What a pleasant experience, down to the watermelon slice. Olympia Cafe on us1, original gyro with grilled potatoes. The gyro was packed with fresh carved perfectly seasoned lamb with fresh cut tomatoes and white onions, the Tzatziki tastes like cucumbers, it’s the perfect viscosity to sit on top but still coat eveything in the sandwich and you can taste the cucumbers. The potatoes were perfectly cut and cooked then seared on a hot grill to crate a perfect bite size potato They were kinda slow so we had the opportunity to talk to the female owner or owners wife, she showed us all the Knick knacks customers had hand made for them, one being a perfect wood carving of teddy, the owner, and his awesome mustache. One of the best experiences I’ve had at lunch in a very long time, I’ll be back often

Fantastic! I had the gyro with fried potatoes. One of the few times the positive reviews were spot on target. Friendly couple own this place and make you feel very welcome. I’ll definitely go back. I want to try the entire menu, but the gyro was just so good. A very satisfied customer.

Fabulous is not a good enough description for this wonderful cafe. The Greek gentleman and his wife look and sound like characters in a story, and the food…..cooked and prepared with such incredible ingredients and love for the art of the dish. The Gyros are the freshest and most tender you’ll ever find, luscious! To the owners, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful, memorable lunch date, we will be back….

Got the original gyro. I would have preferrd a pork gyro, but their pork doesn't come from a spit (the vertically spinning roaster). If it doesn't come from a spit, then it's not gyro, it's roasted or grilled pork. Typical gyros in Greece (and most of Europe) are pork. Beef, lamb, or a mixture of the two are hard to find in Greece. I don't know why pork gyro is so hard to find in USA. Regardless, the original gyros here are pretty good. I'd eat there again.
