Banzai is one of those places in a strip mall that maybe you don’t even notice.. but you should. We were treated like royalty. They were very attentive and it showed that they knew their craft and cared about their customers and their reputation. Please give them a try!
Wow 🤩 Finally tried this place out because I kept smelling the food when leaving Publix.
Food is as amazing as the smells. Highly satisfied!! We got Chicken Pad Thai, and Masaman Curry with veggies + steamed rice. Beautiful place, family oriented, friendly staff.
10/10 will come again and recommend to friends and family!!
Great little spot for sushi & Thai food! Food was ready soon after calling in to order. Highly recommend the miso soup! My sushi came along with some tempura & a spring roll. It was a nice surprise! The staff are so friendly. I'd definitely come back!

I can't believe I've lived here for so many years and never tried this wonderful establishment!! Decided to stop in for some takeout tonight, and tried a few items off the menu to get a feel for the place. It will absolutely be a place I will not only be coming back to for lunch, but will bring my friends and family for dinner as well. Service was fast, and above the top friendly. They offered me a seat while I looked at the menu since I had never been there, brought me water, and did not act at all as if it was an obtrusion, or hastle me to hurry my decision. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Food prices were fair, and the portion sizes were much more than expected on all items. Great value! The chef took a moment to say goodbye as I left, it's the small things that matter like that, that make you feel like a valued customer, that really matter (besides food quality of course). Here are the following items I ordered and my review of them:
Cooked baby octopus: nine pieces (more than other restaurants who serve 5-6) served on a bed of carrots and substantial amount of sauce for flavor.
Spicy scallop temaki: out of everything I ordered, this was the one thing I did not really love. Absolutely nothing was wrong with it, I'm sure it was made in a much more authentic way than I'm used to. Lots of cucumber, scallop was fresh, lots of yummy fish eggs, but there didn't seem to be a whole lot of spicy mayo, or spice at all in it.
Cooked JB roll: Wow!! Very delicious, packed with filling, the frying on this was perfect, not greasy at all. And much more than expected quantity-wise
Ginger dinner stir fry: The portion size on this is enough to feed me for 3 days. I chose tofu for my protein, and was pleasantly surprised by the amount in the meal. Flavor was delicious, lots of ginger. This is my go-to for lunch, and I will absolutely be back on a regular basis to order it.
Ultimately, the service was on point, the food was delicious, and the value for your money is far higher than most of the restaurants in Melbourne. Highly recommend trying this if you're looking for a good Thai restaurant, or delicious sushi.
Andy and his wife M are as kind as respectfully of all their clients that it is so simple to just love them. Good old time values where you get treated with such high care that you feel they have known you forever. They remember your names, they remember your regular menu including drinks, and they are kind to tweak any dish to meet your needs and likes. Amazing local business. If I had a magic wand I would gift them a little bit of a renovation but I imagine working 7 days a week is almost impossible. Lunch or dinner in or take out. Fresh ingredients all the time. We eat there once or twice a week. We have busy working schedule and they make our days easier. Thank you 😊😇👍🌅💖
We absolutely love this place! We have never had a bad meal here. The owners and servers are all so welcoming and kind. They have lots of variety on the kinds of rolls they have as well.
The best sushi place in town! The service is always impeccable. We are greeted as if we are family every time. It is clear that the people here take pride in their food and their atmosphere. The place is always decorated with adorable seasonal ornaments too- so cute!
Some of my favorite menu items are the ginger salad, the miso soup (the best I’ve had), and any of the specialty rolls (I had the Brevard roll recently, but they’re all good), and the banana dessert.
This place has a comfortable, family style feel, and there is one server who seems to always be working when we eat there who is the most attentive and hardworking waiter. Even when he is the only person tending tables, his service is still incredibly quick and professional.
I love this place. A hidden gem. The people are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is great, and the food is spot on. Try the Melbourne Roll, even if you’re not a “fish” person, the fried snapper was so good. Can’t wait to go back and order this again! Thanks Banzai Team!
Amazing food and service! We love Japanese and Thai food and are so happy we found this place💪 We grabbed food to go and ate at home for our first visit. I’ll have to update this post with pics next time we go. The food looked and tasted so good that we dove right in and didn’t take pictures beforehand. Now the only things left are empty containers 😂 If you haven’t already, you need to give this place a try. 👍
Fantastic sushi, Andy is incredible at creating each roll beautifully and so delicious. From their Thai tea, to their pad Thai, to their donuts or their mango sticky rice there is never a dull choice. The family is so kind and it is always a blessing to go enjoy a meal. We’ll be back soon!
