I went around opening, a reservation wasn’t really necessary. I had the fried dumplings - they came out super fast. The filling was good and they were plump. I also had a Garnet &Gold sushi roll. I sent that photo to so many friends... “I found the roll that has exceeded the tempura crunchy threshold.” I mean there was A LOT (see photo). Topped it off with the Peanut Butter pie. It was smooth and not cloyingly sweet. A nice way to end lunch. My bartender was great. She was very attentive all the while filling drink orders and handling the outside bar area. I’m looking forward to revisiting and trying something different from this eclectic menu and restaurant.

This place is amazing. Indoor and outdoor seating with live music outside on the night we went. Their menu has a wide variety of foods of high quality. The burgers that my wife and I got were AMAZING. Would definitely recommend anyone coming downtown to eat here and possibly stay for some drinks as well

Matt's Casbah large outdoor patio is a fun spot to enjoy some drinks, have a good conversation, and enjoy the Florida weather, all with ample shade and fans to keep it enjoyable. A surprising treat is their sushi. Both their simple and specialty rolls were deliciou, rolled with fresh ingredients, and perfectly scrumptious rice. May 2022

This place was fantastic. We had a part of 20 for my moms birthday and they did an exceptional job serving us. They have a wide selection of special and the menu has something for everyone. We got the surfboard to start which is a huge sushi platter. The fish tasted great and the appearance was awesome. I had the grouper which was a special this evening and it was fantastic! It was served over a bed of mashed potatoes and spinach. I would definitely give this place a try!! Trust me you won’t regret it.

Very good food, many options for vegetarian, gluten free, or meat eaters. The salad was fresh and delicious. I got grilled chicken with sesame dressing and was pleased. The server was friendly and adequately handled our large group. The only negative thing I can say is that the kitchen door is extremely loud and servers are entering it all the time so it's a little unnerving, but that's nobody's fault. Will definitely be back and just make sure that we sit more towards the front of the restaurant or outside. The back is beautiful with the hanging silks from the ceiling, but too noisy.
