The Miguel's restaurant in Eagle Point is okay. We've been there a few times, and the food was just all right..
The service was fine, and it is definitely in a convenient location there, right off of highway 62. Hopefully they have improved their kitchen, and the food is much more better Skippy. Anyways, next time you're in Eagle point, and crave some spendy Mexican food, stop on by!

Had a great time. My sister and I went to grab food to go, they were busy so we were told it was going to be a 40 minute wait. That was fine, my sister and I asked if we could hang at the bar and have a couple of drinks while we waited. We were told,”of course!” By a lovely young woman with blond streaks in her hair. She made me my margarita immediately and gave us some menus to peruse through. Another young lady offered us chips and salsa while we waited, which I was surprised since we were planning our meals to go. Like I had mentioned previously, the night was poppin. We watched the entire staff literally run around to make sure everyone was taken care of. Multiple staff members chit chatted with us as the night was going and were very attentive to us, even though we were taking food to go and they were incredibly busy.
This comment is specifically for our hostess/bar maid/waitress. I wish I would have caught her name, she was very busy doing everything from making drinks to bussing tables. Her attitude was delightful and her conversations, that she could manage some time for, were cordial and with purpose. I’m glad my sister and I decided to stop in for dinner. I hope the staff enjoyed us as much as we did them.

Miguel’s was a last minute “I hope they’re open” decision. My wife had a veggie burrito and I had the carnitas and we both had the house margarita. The meal was very good and the service was excellent. The was a great choice by us and last minute at that.

If I could leave a 0 ☆ review I would, I have never been told by a hostess "We are closing in 15 minutes and they cannot service us, it is now take out only" We live in EP and always try and shop and eat local. Unfortunately we won't eat here at Miguel's again, due to poor service. We drove up the rode 2 minutes to Juan's El Caporal and they welcomed us regardless of the 8pm hour!

Very basic generic mexican food.
A margarita will not let you down though! They do it right!
Not a fan of the food.

Prompt service, friendly staff, very attentive, clean restaurant, fairly priced, not outlandish portions and tasty food. Recommend Chile Colorado y chicken tacos. Tender meat in both. Not too much filler in either. Shells of tacos stayed crunchy until devoured. Subtle bacon fat in beans. Chips were the only let down. Too dense and they need a little more salt. Roasted chilies in salsa were a nice touch. Pitcher of margaritas served in glasses with salt on rim paired nicely with both meals. Complimentary dessert of icecream and fried tortilla chip with cinnamon was tasty and portioned well. Churros filled with cream cheese and strawberry flavoring served with icecream and chocolate drizzle had a light crunch, warm filling and couldn't be resisted.
