Calabash is the best seafood restaurant in town. They’ve updated the interior decor since I have last eaten there. Since I moved back to Mechanicsville, I wanted to visit. I had the crab cakes and they were delicious! My friend got shrimp scampi which really needed more garlic. My landlubber friend

We had a very nice Tuesday night dinner. The pre-meal hush puppies were excellent! For dinner, large portions of catfish and shrimp. They were out of flounder and have had to add a surcharge to the scallops. Both were announced upfront.

We had our Valentines Dinner there last night. I was very disappointed. My broiled scallops had no taste and looked like it may have been boiled in butter and water. Potatoes were undercooked and she crab soup was watered down. The hush puppies were still good.

Best seafood meal we have had in a couple of years. This is out of our way, but our regular seafood place near home closed due to COVID. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Calabash Seafood in Mechanicsville. Amazing staff. The service was top notch.

Met Maurice Parker, he built the place. Had the curb bisque, it was more on the thin side but plenty of crabmeat. Oh and it was good. I also had the bang bang shrimp. Also was good. Beer was good, service was good. I will go back...

Shared a lovely dinner with the hubster. We had the small seafood platter. Everything was delicious 😋 . Just as we remembered the beautiful seafood experience before COVID. 🥳
