Great stop for lunch and craft beer. Their cheeseburger was among the best we have ever had! Great atmosphere, and the NEIPAs were excellent as well. Got a few to go cans and Voodoo swag for home!
Cozy atmosphere. Great beer and good food. What more could you want?
I was referred to Voodoo by a coworker. I took my friends this weekend while we were visiting for Conneaut's Fall Festival. Needless to say, we had a great time. The food and drinks were awesome, and the brewpub had a great german-style vibe. No questions asked, we will be returning.
They were quite nice despite the fact that we showed up well after the kitchen closed looking for food. Lol
While I have been consuming Voodoo Brewery beer for many years now, this was my first in-person visit to the original pub location. Absolutely ADORE this amazing brewery located in the heart of quaint downtown Meadville. Ducked in for a flight tasting and subsequent bottle release and had the opportunity to sample the brewery's food offerings, core beers, and barrel room selections on draft. Standouts: the market house pretzel served with Wynona's Brown Ale beer cheese, the brewery's rotating IPAs (Blossoming Down Under and Hard Network Out were available during my visit), and the most recent releases of K13, K13 on Madagascar Vanilla Bean, and Willet BBA-Black Magick. Space is open, airy, and fun; both interior design and flight presentation (boards are constructed from spend bourbon barrel staves) are points of conversation. Bartenders and staff are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Will return again and again and again.
Vibe: Urban hipster
Decor: Typical brewpub in an old building that I'd love to know more about. Everyone raves about the old doors hung from the ceiling, but I found them to be kind of pointless and a little dumb.
Beer: Amazing. They've got a large selection, and they're quite sophisticated.
Food: Very good, upscale pub grub.
Napkins: (Yes, they're remarkable enough to write about.) Weird and cheesecloth-like. They reminded me of the real cloth towels in old school public bathrooms. I did not care for their texture, and they seemed like they would be difficult to clean.
Bathrooms: Roomy and clean.
Overall: Thumbs up.
Went on a Sunday so food wasn't being served but the atmosphere and drinks where great going to make another trip to try the food
I love Voodoo. The beer is a clean, unique spin on classic styles. The staff is always so friendly with an atmosphere that is hip without being pretentious. The food has never disappointed either. Even though the menu changes regularly. If you are in the area, check out the OG, you won't regret it. Pictured is the Gran Met.
