Review Dolan Lake Restaurant - McLeansboro

We go to Farris' on Friday night for the Frog Legs. One of the last places around that you can still get them without paying an arm and a leg. We have learned you need to get there early on Fridays or the buffet gets a bit lean, which means they get quite busy.

They are very friendly and helpful.. the food was awesome.. just wonderful and good atmosphere..

Came down from Fairfield to try something new and our waitress brandy was amazing and food was great also would definitely recommend to others and would definitely come again

Food was good (not a huge variety because, I think it was a seafood buffet), service was ok, but a little intimidating for a new customer. Had a large group and was told to sit any where. Ask about menu items on arrival and was told only buffet, buffet was a little pricey and same price for all ages, children 4-10, adults and seniors. Watched several people get sandwich es rather than buffet. Over all was not completely satisfied.

Very good food and very friendly atmosphere.

From service, to quality to value no complaints. Our server was very nice and helpful. Ordered two appetizers (fried okra, and breaded mushrooms) and two entrées for under 21$ food was prepared perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you
