I’ve been ordering takeout from Forbidden City since 2017. The food is always ready very fast prior to my arrival for pickup and service is always friendly. I’ve ordered an array of items from the menu such as Kung pao chicken, chicken fried rice, general tsos, and crispy shredded chicken/beef. Ever

The best chicken leMain and broccoli crispy beef ever! This place is one hidden gem in McLean that I discovered a couple of years ago and now my son also loves it. Look no further for great Chinese take out. Forbidden City is the best in this area. I am serious !

I love to find little 'hole in the wall' places that make good food. This is one of those. A very small operation. I think they only have three tables inside. However, their mainstay is carryout and delivery. The food is plentiful and tasty. All of the typical American versions of Chinese food

Very good Chinese food, it has one of my favorite dishes of all time. You can get it take out or you can wait a few minutes due to how quickly they're able to make it.
