We have been eating here for many years, food has always been excellent. Service can sometimes be hit or miss based on rotating staff, but never horrible. A must to order for app is the crab cheese rolls. I always get cashew delight, which is excellent.

The best Thai food we ever had , I loved Thailand and the food. We have tried most Thai food in every other state we have visited and here in Texas. We have not found really good Thai food with authentic tastes until now. This week we have visited 2 new Thai food restaurants, we loved both places but Silk Road is closer to us . We will be return there every time we feel to eat Thai food and will try everything I have in Thailand. You are the best in Texas, please keep the authentic taste. We ordered our food today to go . Add reviewed Nov 15 : By the way the fried rice we had is completely no good, no taste and I don't know how to tell ? I don't recommend the Thai fried rice at all .

I really love Thai food. The food is good at Silk Road and I really like their pineapple curry. The reason I did not give them five stars is the service can sometimes be a little bit slow and seems disorganized. Their covered patio is very nice when the weather is good.

Really good Thai place, service was good. The pineapple Thai Fried Rice was excellent. Both the Tom Kha and Tom Yum were good with great balance of tangy and spicy and sweet. The cream cheese crab appetizer is very good and one of my favorite variants on a crab Rangoon I've tried. Portions are large and could be shared easily... We always end up with a to go box. Tonight, I had the Tamarind Shrimp and it was excellent and is pictured for this review. Shrimp was Crispy but not overdone and the Tamarind sauce was on point.

"The lizard of God"(explained below). Food wise, the appetizers were decent. Given the surroundings and upscale Italian restaurant decor I expected more. The sauces tasted like pre-made store-bought. My Kirin was warm. On the menu it mentions pad-Thai is the most common Thai dish. However, theirs was underwhelming. The appetizers were decent, but common and hard to mess up. When coupled with weak sauces it brings the food down a notch. We didn't sit outside, but there is some outdoor seating.
Sorry. The restaurant used to be an Italian place. Still looks like one minus the kitschy Asian decor spread throughout. On the faux fireplace is a Latin phrase that should translate into "the upper arm of God". Problem is they mean "arm of God" I think. Which is still strange, but Google translates it as lizard of God. It's correct with direct vocabulary translation, but as a more contemporary phrase lizard doesn't make much sense. With all the Latin phrases available it was a weird idea (Italian or Thai surroundings).

Very nice and cozy place. The food is good and you get to choose from 1-5 how spicy you want your food!

Loved the food. Sorry to see them close down, but glad to know the menu will still be available, even if it is a little farther away now.
