Review Minerva Bakery - McKeesport

Minerva Bakery did our wedding cake in October, 2021 and it was perfect! We were able to pick 3 different fillings (one for each layer) and they have so many designs to pick from. They worked with us on the design we wanted and we could not have been happier with the outcome. All of our guests raved about how delicious it was. Would definitely recommend this bakery...and not just for wedding cakes!

This King Cake was so very, very good. Best ever. We had 2 from 2 different bakeries and this one was hands down the best. Only caveat, no baby! We buy the cake for the baby!!!

If I could leave NEGATIVE STARS I would. Our grandson's christening cake was ordered, a deposit made, and we went to pick it up DAY OF Christening, and they were closed. No call, nothing. We have ordered exclusively from Minerva's for over 30 years. NEVER AGAIN. I WILL NEVER ORDER A THING FROM THEM AGAIN.

OMG incredible old time family run bakery Pittsburgh snowballs at their best!! Like stepping into the past no commercial super market baked goods the real deal!!!

Some of the highest quality baked goods in the land! Wonderful staff very kind and helpful. They made the ordering ahead pick up very easy for the holiday.

Independent Bakery that has been in business for almost a century and I understand why. Their baked goods are made fresh everyday, they have great cakes, and the atmosphere is so friendly it feels like home. My great grandmother loved this place, and I like their cream puffs, neapolitans, donuts, and a lot of other things lol. Pecan rolls too!. Many types of home made breads. My only advice is to get there early before their fresh baked delicacies and daily specials disappear!

Mmm. So yummy!! Grandma always got bread for the holidays, their cookies and cake are AMAZING also.

Best Bakery - Ever. From the chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookies, to the wedding cakes with butter cream icing and raspberry fillings, this bakery is by far the greatest. Try their raisin cinnamon bread - it makes great toast.

Minerva Bakery. I live in Virginia but make a point every time we come to Pittsburgh to make a stop at Minerva's Bakery. Their Almond Torte cake is the best I've ever had and everyone's favorite. There is always a god selection of cookies and pastries and the staff is fabulous! <br/><br/>I bring cookies and nut rolls back to Virginia. I'd make a mint if I had a Minerva's in Falls Church!

Best ever. Minerva's bakes the best cakes, creme icing in pitts area. if you like creme horns, lady locks, these are the best, i'vebeen to shadyside and other pitts area bakeries and there is no comparing. worth the trip. be sure to call ahead and reserve your creme horns.

Great Bakery - Bad location. OK, 5th Avenue in McKeesport is not one of the nicer spots in town. But, the Bakery is only open during daylight hours, and the area isn't really bad (it just looks that way). <br/>Minerva's has their own parking lot (and use it because the crazy lady across the street will B*$&ch you out if you park there...) <br/>Also, they only take cash... good news is that your cash goes far! Fresh baked goods... wonderful bread and coffee cakes. You can't compare the quality of a place like Giant Eagle with Minerva's -- Minerva's is sooo much better. And, amazingly, cheaper, too.<br/> I stop in whenever I can to bring home goodies.
