Most of the food here is pretty good...a little over-priced, but I go back....only thing is the service is slow even at not peak times....one of the better bar foods in the robinson area no doubt...

My fiancé and I went there on Tuesday for trivia night, since our other local trivia is no longer available. We will definitely be back. The bartender was a very polite gentleman, unfortunately I didn't get his name. Very attentive an polite, a rarity. We split a white pizza. Wow. Loved it! So much cheese! And it was HOT! I can tell it was promptly delivered. We both cannot wait until trivia Tuesdays now. Thank you Bronze Hood. Note: This is in the new building.

It was totally mortifying, my husband and i had death in the family, and we were mentally drained, and went to the bronze hood for comfort food we desired..i have had the same food i ordered in the past,and have had to send it back , for heating up, more cheese, etc. a common mistake, well today, before i even got to order i was accosted, by the daily bartender/ waitress, and she actually screamed , red in the face telling me if i am going to order the same thing and complain about, dont even order it cause im not gonna deal with it..yes ,,she did, maybe shes in menopause, but to be treated that way,as a paying and good tipping customer..i dont understand..wow and there is also a younger girl that is a waitress there who likes to roll her eyes when something is wrong with your order.... been going there for a long time, but the shocking actions of the bartender and waitresses and owners, who could care less how u r treated as a paying loyal customers, really was a disturbing experience..plus , i did have to kill spiders all over my table, while waiting to be accosted...please dont waste your time cause its not all good at the hood..........
Great Place. The Bronze Hood is an awesome local favorite! They provide a great relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. Their white pizza is very delicious and they have the BEST fish sandwich in the burgh! They support their community and help promote and support local charities. GREAT PLACE!
Great food, atmosphere, and they support the community!. It's unfortunate that a few people didn't have a good experience at this restaurant because that is completely out of the norm! The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and they recently supported and sponsored a community fundraiser with Best Buddies Pennsylvania to raise money for social inclusion programs for children and adults with Down syndrome and Autism.
I'll take this hometown restaurant that puts money back into the community over any big chain any day!
WE ARE BACK!!!. Just to let everyone know BRONZE HOOD is back in business!!!! We moved just down the street to 5920 Steubenville Pike. Same great food, great service and friendly atmosphere just a new improved location.

Surprise! Don't accept coupons on Friday during Lent!. Went there today for lunch with a friend. The food was good as usual. Presented an Entertainment Book "2 for 1" coupon which should have worked based on the restrictions noted on the coupon. Server pointed to their handmade signs on the wall that state during Fridays in Lent, they wouldn't accept any of their Entertainment, Enjoy or Green Apple Barter coupons. Why? Who knows? Supposedly Entertainment Book wouldn't let them add this quirky non-sensical restriction to their coupons. They "do" accept your money during Lent.
The biggest and best fish sandwich anywhere! We've been eating there for over 10 years yeah made the service is not all the best, but the food is!
Good most of the time. I've eaten here a few times and it's not always good.
Service can be slow and other patrons can be loud and a bit unruly (if you're there at night).
For lunch, the place is great. There was a time when a friend had something in his salad that shouldn't have been there. And the waitress was very apologetic and took care of the situation.
The atmosphere is OK - nothing fancy, nothing terrible.
Food is good when it's done right.
Get the deep fried platter of everything!! You'll love it! :) tip try dipping stuff in ranch!! Mmm!!!

LOVE this place! Not fancy, not stuffy. It's good pub fare with good beer selections and the best and most friendly service. The prices are so reasonable too. No one here is greedy and trying to to rip off hard working folk. Their chicken wings are sick. I only wish they had more variety in their sauces and less Frank's but honestly, that aside, those wings are cooked to perfection. We try to stop by as often as possible, funds permitting 😸 Sit at the bar and enjoy their happy hour specials. Tip generously!!!

I have eaten there a lot and have always been impressed. Their steak salad is GREAT - I always ask for the addition of olives to that salad. Delicious. Last night my wife and I were there and I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious (see pic). My wife had the Hood Special (see pic) and she was VERY PLEASED with this dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant; great service with very pleasant and attentive staff.
Place is great for wing night on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wings are a nice size and are cooked very good. On Monday and Wednesday you get to chose between all flats or all drums or a mix of both for your wings, which is nice if you have a preference. Everything else I had from this place has been good as well but I most just go for wing nights.
Best fish sandwich in all of Pittsburgh HANDS DOWN!! We come here all the time and it is such a great atmosphere with a mostly older crowd. Our favorite place for dinner and beer!
Saw it was wing night and decided to try them. Arrrived around 6 and it was busy. We ordered 3 different wings including the killers and all were very good. We also ordered a couple sandwiches Steak and a Muffaleta. I can't recommend the sandwiches the steak was burnt and dry and the Muffaleta was nothing special. I suggest either arriving at 5 or wait til after 7 when it kind of cleared out.
We love the food and drinks at the Bronze Hood! Love that it's a locally owned family business too. Be sure to try the wing dust wings, extra crispy, and get the hot pepper cheese balls with horsey sauce! If you're wanting some comfort food definitely get the grilled cheese and fries. I'm getting hungry just typing this review...
