My wife and I stopped here for the first time. Absolutely amazing food and shakes. The burgers are very tasty with the fresh veggies and the onions rings are the best we've ever had. Will be back again and again.
HOLY MOLY WHAT A BURGER! The firehouse was recommended by our server and I absolutely ENJOYED IT! The fries are absolutely perfect for me. My wife had the shroom burger and it was delicious too. Thank you for the awesome lunch!
Vintage style burgers, fries and shakes with a few new age offerings like açaí bowls. Locally brewed Beer and canned cocktails also on the menu.

Best hospitality in town! Thanks to the Rude guy at Growlers Pizza we would not have come across Father’s Pride in McCall! Their staff, all of them were welcoming and very pleasant. Best cheeseburgers in town! One of the staff explained to us the beer that my husband was inquiring about. Beer made in Idaho. It’s called Sockeye! White mans Corona with lime! She was absolutely right! Awesome beer! Awesome lady. Wish I caught her name. Took the time to welcome us and we felt so pleased we went there!
I totally recommend this place to hamburger lovers. Their service is fantastic! We’ll surely stop by before we head home!

My Father's Place has been my absolute favorite restaurant in McCall for over 20 years! A trip to My Father's Place used to be the only way my parents could get me to even go to McCall! The line can seem intimidating but once you order your food will be out in 10 min or less.
The fry sauce is the most addicting thing I've eaten in my entire life. It's not something I had growing up in California so it was such a treat on the visit.
More importantly- they are so wonderful about catering to my celiac disease. I have a genuine allergy to gluten and they are able to cater to it completely! They have gluten free buns that are not even put on the same workspace as the normal buns AND they have a dedicated gluten free fryer. Paula's Famous Nut Burgers are even completely gluten free. It's so amazing to have my health problems taken seriously and supplemented with amazing food. They have an extra milkshake machine for allergies as well (not used with peanuts and I BELIEVE gluten).
They are happy to answer any questions for allergies/ intolerances and are so wonderful to find options to work with you and your family. 100% worth a visit.
Good was amazing, from the sweet potatoe fries to the shakes. Had their Hawaiian chicken burger and by far had the best grill taste ever. Strawberry shake was wonderful as well. One thing I will say is that it is expensive. Spent $32 for two meals and a shake. A little overpriced but pretty good.
Also a very nice and friendly place as there is spots for the family to sit at and a bit of room to play cornhole and relax.
Was passing through town and stopped here on the recommendation of a friend. Got the classic burger and a mint chocolate chip shake. Both were perfect! No way I wouldn’t stop here every time I’m in McCall!

We have loved every single burger we tried here. We opted for onion rings over fries and they were also delicious. Shakes are truly the best I have ever had - opt for the real fruit add in!!!
