Tres Chiles Restaurant

The breakfast here was just okay, the service was good, the freshness of the food could be easily improved by having certain dishes hot and made fresh to order (like the diced potatoes). The huevos rancheros cost 5.49 and for that price you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon. I ordered the eggs over medium but the yolk was almost cooked and the salsa for the eggs was just okay, the refried beans didn't tasty anything special and they were barely warm, the bacon was crispy a bit over cooked but it was a bit cold, the potatoes were soggy and stone cold, the price makes me want to rate it 4/5. The coffee was very good and hot. Serving cold dishes is something that can be easily improved, i hope their management takes notice. For now i will rate this place 3/5 and will return in some weeks to see if the quality improved.

Went Sunday morning after church, my 2nd time there. Don't quite recall my experience there the 1st time.. Something must have been going on with their cash register because a sign on the door read "cash only". I ordered potato, chorizo n egg tacos on crispy flour tortillas. My order was skimpy on the chorizo but the tortillas was crunchy. The salsa was warm but not spicy. I was disappointed. The wait staff was attentive and would refill my coffee cup quickly. As I was leaving more customers were coming in. Seems to be pretty popular. Giving it 3 stars bc service wasn't bad but there didn't seem to be anything exceptional about the place. I'll go back and give it another try.
