Review Shipley Donuts - McAllen

OMG! What a great find. I was told about this little, amazing donut shop called Shipleys. Didn’t really believe it at first but as soon as I got there it was a great turn of events. Walking to the front door, everything smells so fresh, so sweet, and those that were in there, or with smiles on their face. I ordered a variety of donuts, I even ordered the sausage and egg rolls egg and ham rolls, and everything was so tasty and delicious. Melted in your mouth, making you want more. It was great we love coming here only when we come from Emporia,Kansas to come and visit my family here in Mission, Texas the Manger he always greet everyone that walks in and comes over to say hi how ya'll doing and he said he was sorry that the air condition wasn't working it didn't mind us we were just fine

Okay they used to stop making donuts at 2:00pm , but lately they stop at any time before 2 :00pm so when I go at 3:30pm the donuts are been sitting down in the store for 4 1/2 because this day was a slow day and decided to stop at 11:00am.

Shipley Donuts staff is way better then Dunkin Donuts!!! They are very friendly. From all there selections Of dounts they have looks so yummy! It's hard to choose. They have so much patiences with there customers! They always ask anything else, you would like to try. They even asked how is your day going!! There donuts are delicious!! Not to grease at all!! The only thing they don't have is frozen vanilla coffee!!

My Dad would bring us here after Sat/Sunday morning newspaper route. I now have taken my kids to see donuts being made. Best time is Friday after 11am to get my hot glazed mmmm.

Hello last night around 8:30pm I send my daughter to purchase some Donuts and when my daughter brought this home I can’t believe the this place has de Distance he sales this kind .

I came at 12:30 on a Sunday. My kids wanted a sprinkles donut and chocolate milk. The milk was fine. All three donuts that I got were terrible. Buttermilk glazed donut, chocolate iced and pink sprinkles. They were hard as a rock and prob been sitting there since the day before.

Best doughnuts! Best customer service! Hilda Rangel is great! Love this place! I keep on going back because they have the best doughnuts and because of Hilda, the best customer service! �

I have eaten at all the other donut shops that have come to the RGV and Shipleys is the best. A hot glazed is like eating a blissful pillow of donuty goodness

Donuts are in the open without anything protecting them from flys. Employee very nice however her statement of we"never" have flies, is not correct, as there were flies while we were there.

I don’t know why the Shipley’s in Mcallen hire people who obviously don’t want to work every time I come to this donut place I get the worst service. Please help. I love donuts too much to stop going because of crappy service.

And start selling kolaches after 11am! If you sold kolaches all day you could make some 💰 just saying. Only from 5am to 11am come on.. but employees are chill. 🤸

This place is the best always have friendly people working and fresh donuts.

They have some of the nicest people working there. The owners son treated my grandhildren to some samples of the dough while they looked at the Do-Nut making .

Their glaze is really my only favorite. My wife likes their chocolate cake a lot also.
