This is such a nice place! If you are looking for good and authentic Mexican food from a family owned restaurant, that's the place! We took the enchiladas with green salsa and steak tacos, both were really good! The chips and salsa were great and we even got a Johnny cake on the house:)
Stop by, you won't regret it!
I'm not usually in this neighborhood so I don't really have any go to spots. Found this spot on Maps and decided to give it a shot. Really glad I did. The food was exceptional. Wasn't too expensive either. The potatoes that came with the breakfast I ordered were fantastic.
Walked into a cute, quaint, low-key cafe with peaceful music playing in the background and black and white stills of Latinx greats hanging on the wall. I was met with a friendly smile and warm welcome from the owners, who are husband and wife. She was a great hostess, and he was a great cook! Very calming vibe here. Last but not least- the food is DELICIOUS! Pictured is the Enchiladas Mexicanos. It was as good as it looks! I will be returning!
I loved the empanadas de Camaron and the cochinita sandwich! This place is a must try, I drove 40 minutes to get to the restaurant and it was worth it. The manager Ray was very nice and made sure I had a wonderful experience.
Wow, what amazing place to eat! We're hooked. FINALLY the place that Maywood has been missing. And yes the food does look like the pictures. #ciielitolindo Mexican cafe.
