This used to be a great place to eat. I went here lastnight for dinner 11/2/21 and ordered a 3 piece white meat meal for $12.91 and this is what I got 2 extra small pieces and a chicken breast that was bloody on the inside with a smashed biscuit! Hadn't been to this location in over 2 years due to a horrible experience. Was very glad I decided to try again! Restaurant was clean and looked nice. Staff was pleasant and friendly! Food was hot, tasted good and cooked well!

Worst KFC. Non existent customer service. Bathroom stench hits you before you open the door. Chicken probably criminally undercooked. Go to the express convenience store next door, buy a bag of cheap frozen chicken, take it home, cook it, and enjoy a cheaper meal without the food poisoning.

Quick, accurate service. Excellent tasting food! Chicken was very crisp and tender. We will return!

It is no wonder Mattoon Il KFC has no business. I can see making one mistake but when you mess up a bucket (6pieces out of 8) and 2 other meals you are not running your restaurant properly. Ordered a 8 peice chicken dinner.Chicken wasn't fully cooked and the biscuits were undercooked.75% of the crispy had fallen off the chicken and was in the bottom of the bucket.Very disappointed and will not recommend or return.
