I go to Ammirati's almost every day Monday through Friday and they are the absolute best for lunch in Mattituck. Not only is the food delicious but the staff are friendly and always greet me with a smile. The office I work for is always excited to see the specials and try out Greg's creations and Ethel especially makes it a great experience from the minute I step in the door. And I'd be remiss to if I didn't mention Chewy's infectious laugh and smile whenever I come in. Truly one of the best spots on Love Lane. And if they happen to see this Thank you everyone at Ammirati's for always making getting lunch for an office full of people such a wonderful experience. You guys are truly the best around! Just the best! Highly recommend the Cold Lunch catering for your lunch event. Great wraps and ciabatta bread sandwiches! Super helpful with including vegetarian and lactose free options.
The..London..Calling.. almost don’t want to say anymore. When I saw my favorite roast beef headlining the private stock menu I began to drool. Now the wait, it’ll keep you drooling but busy means good in my book and I couldn’t have been the furthest from upset. This sandwich and deli has landed in the top five hero for me on this island and I haven’t even tried a second one yet. I am wayyy less reluctant to be dragged out to the north fork by my wife!
Today I had a pleasant surprise. My daughter surprised me with a wrap from Ammirati's. Upon opening it I immediately noticed the quality ingredients and presentation. The tomatoes were ripe and sweet as candy. The meat was high quality and the bacon was cooked perfect and very tasty.The lettuce was bright green crisp and fresh. The pride you take in your work shows I respect that.

Amazing little sandwich shop tucked into Mattituck quite nicely. Their stuff was unique but ultimately amazing. Def worth the stop!
I needed a quick lunch for 5 adults and 2 children. It was a holiday Monday but didn't want to go to a restaurant. The staff at Ammirati's was wonderful with suggestions. We got a lg. Toss. salad and 4 different heros cut into 4s. Delicious. Thank you so much
Excellent as always! This is the second year we've had my daughter's party catered by them and will definitely continue to. The assortment of sandwiches and wraps were perfect and the salads were so fresh. On a side note- try the Buffalo Soldier! Chef's Kiss 🤌
Wow! Ammirati's Catering Services for our wedding were just incredible! From the simplicity of planning the event to the flawless execution on the day of by their team. I've attended a lot of catered events, and the quality of their food, preparation, display, staff, etc. so far exceeded all others. Greg Ammirati and family were on site as well to ensure the event was special - that's great business. I'd highly recommend this business, even if you maybe just a little skeptical of the local deli feel of the restaurant 😉 for your big day too. Their catering service is first class, period. And food at restaurant is amazing too! 👏
Catered the barbecue package ohmygosh the food was delicious. Barbecue chicken and ribs outstanding. Hamburgers and hotdogs 👍🏼. Ordered extra dish sausage and pepper delicious & grilled veggies YUM!
Besides the food being delicious. I love that it’s a family owned business on the north fork. Will definitely be going back to them For catering or quick stop for breakfast/lunch.

My first experience catering an intimate, last minute event in Greenport was made stress free because of Greg! He made it so easy for me to have no worries about the food choices, the delivery and pickup of any equipment he left to keep the food fresh and warm. On top of it all, the food was delicious! Got rave reviews from everyone eating! I look forward to ordering again from there. Great job Greg and your staff!!
Hosted a birthday at Pindar Vineyards and had Ammiratis get delivered there for lunch for 35 people. Greg made this process super easy and the food was DELICIOUS! He told me the amount that I should order and ensured me it was going to be enough and it sure was! If you are going to the wineries and need lunch, look no further. If you are on the NOFO anywhere near Love Lane treat yourself and someone you love to anything on the menu. You will not be disappointed.
Just ate there for the second time. Don't remember what I ordered the first time but I remember I was pleased. Today, I ordered the Steak sandwich with grilled onions, mushrooms and melted provolone (the #4, I think)... ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Perhaps the best steak sandwich I've ever had! Bravo.
Great selection of sandwiches and salads, a very friendly staff and a great SMS text based ordering system. While much of the North Fork tends to run a little slower (in particular during rush periods), Ammirati's runs like an atomic clock. Our recurring favorites are the Buffalo Soldier and the Love Lane Pig sandwich. Despite the reasonable prices the serving sizes are huge, so be prepared to have some leftovers.
First time I went in I had a breaded veal sandwich. I ended up leaving the place but made sure to tell the man behind the counter it was in the top 3 best sandwiches I'd ever had and that was only because I was hedging my bets on having another 2 just as good (doubtful). Second time? Different sandwich, and it blew me away! Must go. No need to say more. Must go.
