Very delicious pizza and nicely crisp wings. Wings took a little while and came out after pizza. Wish we had them as an appetizer but they do take a bit longer to cook. Still well worth it.
Service was great. Sadie was pleasant and attentive.
Only complaint is the ranch. It sucked. Didn’t taste ho
A very nice place to sit down and forget about life outside. Great food, great people and very well priced. I will definitely be looking forward to the next time I visit and bring some friends to share the experience.
We went here for a few drinks and to watch the football game. We had pizza ,salad ,and baked wings. The staff are very friendly, and the food was excellent.
Van's Pizza is the best kept secret in Mathis! Excellent pizza and wings! BEST Margaritas in the area too :)
We didn't expect much from Van's, we were just hungry travelers, however we were blown away by the quality and flavor of everything, especially the pizza

We stopped here with our kids on the way back to San Antonio from Corpus Christi for some dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and so were the staff. Pizza and cheese bread were excellent! Was such a nice small local pizza place, so glad we stopped!
Pizza is always delicious; one of the best crusts I have ever had.
We usually order a medium half their version of Supreme and half their version of meat lovers. Lorelei Coffee Stout very good and other tap beers very good.

Ordered a large pizza - half La Rueda & half La Cosa Nostra - and 10 wings! Very delicious food and great vibes (enjoyed some cold drinks as well) Highly recommend checking out Van's!!!
Amazing pizza! The bacon was thick, plentiful and CRISPY. The pizza dough was evenly cooked from the crust to the center which was surprising as most places the center is hardly cooked as well I'm the center. Will DEFINITELY be going back
We stopped in today en route to San Antonio. I am so glad we did. This is by far the best pizza crust I’ve ever had. We ordered the Rueda which consists of carne asada, jalapeños, thin slices of fresh avocado and just a hint of sauce. It was topped with fresh lime slices which we squeezed on to each
So excited that we can get yummy brick oven pizza even out in the country!! The atmosphere of Van’s Brick Oven Pizza is wonderful and fun. If you haven’t eaten there yet, give it a try because you will enjoy it.
Excellent pizza and service. We are camping at the state park and decided to try some place in town. So glad we did. The pizza is delicious!

Would have been a 5, pizza was delicious but not what we ordered...so disappointed 😞 our waitress obviously made no effort to even say "sorry" much less fix the issue. Sorry guys, as much as I love y'all, I don't know
To say the pizza was amazing is an understatement! From the moment my wife & I stepped in we felt at home. The drinks were great, the people are great and the food is amazing!! Can’t wait to come back!!
