Best Fish & Chips ever. Always all you can eat, but portion so large, I rarely eat more. Not only the traditional beer battered cod loin, but you can mix and match grilled and blackened. Best clam chowder as well as unique appetizers like goeta sauerkraut balls. Nice selection of beer on tap even though I'm a non beer person.
Awesome! We were in town for the weekend going to Kings Island and found Old Bag of Nails on the internet. The reviews were awesome and they did not disappoint! We thought it was a little pricey at first but when we got our food the portions were huge and it was worth the money. I would definitely recommend eating here!
I feel so stupid. I thought this was a nail salon until my friend recommended how good their food was. I have truly been missing out! Their mussels were some of the best I have had in the city. I will now be a frequent customer. The service was incredibly on point. Their cocktails were enjoyable and it wasn't blasting with cold AC that I wished I had a sweater. I was comfortable from beginning to end. Thank you so much
Stopped in after a quick trip to Kings Island. We had been a few years ago and remembered enjoying it. Today was no exception.
The space is huge but welcoming with a giant middle bar that was very comfortable to sit at. Staff was quick and friendly. Pretty great selection of quality craft beer alongside the standards.
My girlfriend ordered the blackened fish tacos, and the bartender helpfully pointed out that there was a lunch portion on the menu that we overlooked. The lunch size was a perfect amount of food. The tacos are relatively big and super tasty. Perfect spice and quality fish.
I had the fried fish Reuben and it was fantastic. Something you don’t often see and I was very pleased.
Family-friendly sports bar. We started with the French onion soup, and it was cheesy deliciousness!
For entrees, I ordered the Philly cheesesteak while my husband had the reuben. All of our food was tasty and served hot. Service was a little slow but still good. There is plenty of free parking available.
This is a fantastic pub, perfect place to catch up with friends and family. The fish sandwich is excellent. Our waiter, Matt S. was great!
Stopped in for late dinner with wife. The service was great. The food was above expectations, and tasty. Clean table! A sports broadcast right at the table. The Fish and Chips dinner is not a "snack" like in every other place in this area....it's is a delicious meal!!!! I will be back to this wonderful place. This was my first time to visit...who knew? Enjoyed it very much.
My family and I enjoyed our dining experience. The Chicken Nachos Appetizer, which my wife ordered as her main course, was enough to feed a minimum of two people. The Chicken was juicy and flavorful, and coated in melted cheese, fresh jalapenos and green onion. I ordered the Traditional Reuben was chock full of fresh made and tender corned beef, swiss cheese, tender sauerkraut on toasted marble rye bread. A delicious Reuben sandwich. The thick cut fries were delicious dipped in either ketchup or barbecue sauce or just plain. Our son ordered the Chicken Tenders from the kids menu and he loved the crispy coating and juicy chicken. For dessert my friend and I enjoyed the Bread Pudding coated in bourbon sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream. A great way to end a delicious meal.
Very good fried foods. The waiters are decent. Highly recommend the fried pickles, though! The beer selection is great, as well. We tried a lot of different beers, and there were a ton on tap.
Great atmosphere if you like sports. TVs at some of the tables. Service was good. Food was outstanding. Shrimp and mussels dish was the best I have ever had! Sauce was incredible. Can also get a Reuben but seafood style with fish which was also excellent.
First visit to this location. It was clean and organized. Seated right away and Sheridan, our server was amazing. She was pleasant, helpful, and professional. The food was fresh and tasted perfect. Recommended
Excellent food and good atmosphere. We went here for Father's Day and we got the Philly Cheese steak, Fish and chips, Chicken tenders and a kids Macaroni and cheese meal. All of the food was good and my older son especially enjoyed the huge portion of fish and chips. They were out of the spicier batter but he liked the regular batter just fine. I had onion rings with my chicken fingers and they were good, but the onion was a little undercooked and still a little crunchy, and not from the batter. Our only complaint was that our server was a bit inattentive. We only saw him once during the meal where he refilled our drinks once and then when we were all finished we had to wait at least 10 minutes before I could flag him down to get the bill. We'll probably return since it's close by and seemed to have a good variety of food.
