Love hitting the Marketplace for a fun summer night out! Dinner outside listening to a live band, shopping at little cute stores, playing a round of mini golf and finishing the night with an ice cream! It has it all!
The Marketplace Café was a great place! They have many different types of food and the service was amazing! They had fish and chips, burgers, anything to drink. And a very friendly environment. It was even right in the middle in the plaza next to the dance floor where many musicians and comedians like to sit and perform!
Great place for a casual dinner. We were seated in the back and had great service. The fish and chips and blt were both delicious. My husband ordered the scallops and thought they were just ok. I would recommend sticking with the cheaper food options here.
With drinks, aps and dinner...plus tip...it was $70. We were there to hear the band (no cover charge) casual but yummy food. I had the fish tacos and hubs had the lobster Flatbread...both good!
Staff very accomidating for our large group. Food was pretty good... calarmari and crab cakes were excellent. Lobster rolls were expensive and just ok. Would definitely recommend though!
Matt helped us throw a welcome party for our wedding and it was amazing!! We had ~100 guests through 2 hours and everything was set up beautifully. Our guests loved the patio and back bar areas and the amazingly delicious cookies and brownies provided. Thank you to Matt & team for making the day before the wedding so stress free!
Ever had a craving for something and there was only one place still open that made it so you went and got it. Well that happened to me. It was tastier and less expensive than my usual place. I called ahead and those tasty scallops and sides were waiting when I got there. The service was friendly with a smile. The food was great and surprisingly affordable. Perhaps Popanesett's best kept secret.
As regulars every Summer, this place is a gem for us! The staff are wonderful, particularly the manager Kara Eaton, who goes above and beyond to please her customers. Sadly tonight, we witnessed an older man handling a situation where his vegetables came out cold, very unnecessarily aggressively. In these times, where restaurants and staff are going out of their way to make our dining experiences comfortable, safe and somewhat normal, attacking a hard working (and already stressed) member of staff for something as trivial as ‘less than warm vegetables,’ is a major first-world-probelm and the situation could have been handled with more compassion and less entitlement. We had a delicious meal and overall wonderful experience tonight, as usual. Thanks marketplace cafe and staff for your hard work & dedication!! We Love you guys! Your Irish friends, Mel and Frank ❤️
Place was amazing! Food was great! Drinks were perfect! And server was amazing! Although it was a hot day server always kept coming out to make sure we had water.
Guaranteed the best lobster roll on Cape! Add $3.00 and get fries too! Nice peaceful, entertaining area by the sea with shopping and shaded tables.
This is a happening place. Cozy but lots going on. See and be seen.
