Gracie's Restaurant

This was my first time, and let me just say the experience, the food, and the staff were absolutely phenomenal. The plate presentation was perfectly layed out. The corn was sweetened and buttered perfectly. The mashed potatoes were just right, and the gravy tasted amazing. I just couldn't get enough of this southern cooking, so I had to order a blackberry cobbler to go. All around an amazing place, and who knows they maybe have a new regular when i'm in town.

Great soul food. We had the meatloaf and the chicken fried steak. Both were very good and we would be happy to order the same thing again when we return. The meatloaf did not come with gravy or ketchup on it, as they do at many places. I usually like gravy but in this instance it was more than fine without. There was ketchup at the table if you would want to add some yourself. Fried okra, buttered corn, home taters (which are home fries) were all great too. The sweet tea was sweet. The great service also added to the meal.

Loved it. If you like a small family type place this is for you. Excellent Ruben, and fried green tomatoes. Everything coming out looked delicious! A misunderstanding of my order was quickly taken care of. Service was top notch. The waitress noticed something was off, and corrected it. She had coffee and tea before needed. Very attentive. Will definitely make it there more often. By the way if you're in need you eat free. Also donations for this are accepted. You don't find a better place to not only eat, but help.

This restaurant is so great. Staff was very friendly. This is a restaurant that has home cooking that blows cracker barrel out of the water. Me and my husband had a salad with our meal that had homemade blue cheese dressing. I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole broccoli casserole was wonderful. I ordered banana pudding to go. When i got home the whipped cream had liquefied. That's what canned whipped cream does if you don't eat it right away.
