Sirloin House

Stopped on way home from Natural Bridge VA, food was hot and yummy. It was seasoned perfect. Busy but service was fast and friendly. Great Ma and Pop type restaurant. Can't beat it for the price. If there was anything dirty they were cleaning as fast as possible, windows and tables. Good food with good staff.

Got a 10 ounce hamburger steak with grilled onions and pepper and mushroom gravy. Sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and string beans with yeast roll. Everything was great. Didn't take pictures. Gravy was a bit salty. Waitress wasn't that attentive, I babysat one drink during our visit and we were there for at least an hr or so. Food was great though.

This place is your run-of-the-mill small town home-cooking restaurant. The blowing onion was HUGE and was really good. My husband and I both got the ribeye. It's not the best steak you ever had, but it's certainly not the worst! The side salad was VERY GOOD! My husband likes the collard greens alot. All in all, it was a pretty good meal. Not a date night atmosphere, but definitely somewhere to go with family or after church... They had signs up for a breakfast Buffet, I wouldn't doubt that is pretty yummy. The service there was outstanding. Our waitress never let our drinks get down past halfway and she even brought us an extra piece of garlic bread (that was very tasty) just because!

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the area. This trip I enjoyed two trips for dinner. Homestyle southern cooking keeps me returning. Variety of food to choose off the menu. First night I had a vegetable plate and the second night, I had spaghetti and a salad. Both meals were excellent. Clean area, friendly and efficient staff.

This is the second time I have eaten here. The first time the food was delicious prior to covid. The second time I was not expecting the same results. To my surprise the steaks were consistent. The greens. mashed potatoes, pintos and rolls (so soft you would think it was clouds) all were great AGAIN! I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

The food at the sirloin house was so good and the amount you get for the price you pay is amazing. The wait staff is awesome as well. We had a table of 15 that he waited on by himself and got every order correct. Had all the condements out too. Drinks were refreshed in a timely manner and he was very personable. Only issue we had was our reservation for the party room was 3pm. We didn't get into the room until 3:30 and they had another party coming in at 5 so we did feel a little rushed.
