Review Casa Visone - Martinsburg

Casa Visone is one of the few family-owned restaurants in Martinsburg. Located on the main street of downtown, you can always rely on an enjoyable meal here – lunch or dinner. We have eaten here several times over the years and we are never disappointed. Eva, one of the owners, always welcomes us like family. Having spent time all over Italy, I can say that this restaurant is a true transplant of Italian cuisine and culture. The restaurant is adorned with personal photographs, which adds to the family feeling you have while enjoying a meal here. The restaurant is intimate and romantic. I’ll start with what is my favorite part of our meals here – dessert. I’m usually not dessert person, but we never turn down the frozen chocolate peaches (with blueberry drizzle!) they sometimes have available. Delicioso! I AM a soup person and Casa Visone has the best soups! Must try. Our favorite main courses are the Fettuccine Delizia and the Black Ink Linguine. One you eat here you will return!

What a lovely place! We are from Charlotte, North Carolina visiting. I worked for Italians for years so I don’t usually eat Italian food. (I feel like nothing can compare to my old owners cooking) We came on a Saturday night. The place was very quiet with lovely music playing. The owner took great care of us while we were there. She helped us through the menu and answered all the questions we had. She also entertained us by telling us about her family’s history. Looking back that is some of the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. The house wine was spectacular as well. I wish I could take y’all back to Charlotte with me! Thank you so much for such great food and great service.

An excellent restaurant. You're greeted by a very lovely Eva as she takes care of you during your dining experience. The restaurant is warm and cozy with a lovely charm and pictures of her family on the walls. There's a selection for everybody from veal chicken seafood trout or pastas and salads with unique take and fabulous flavors that you know you'll enjoy and want to come back for more. Excellent portions reasonable pricing and worth the visit.

Came in for dinner with friends on a Friday night. We came from Michigan. Friends from Virginia. My husband is true Italian and grew up with a Mother who made awesome Italian dishes. In other words, he has high expectations when it comes to Italian food. End result ... It was wonderful. All of us so enjoyed the food ... Right down to the desert. Not to mention the great service from Molly, our waitress. The owners even came out and visited with us. Next time we're in the area, we'll be back again. We recommend this restaurant for dinner to anyone. You're definitely missing out on a gem to please your taste buds if you don't schedule a dinner date here.

Our first experience at Casa Visone was beyond amazing. The service, food, and wine were all more excellent than we had hoped for. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place. Our waiter Christian made the entire experience even more amazing. We can't wait to come back.

Casa Visone has served me the absolute best food I've ever had in my personal existence thus far--specifically their spicy shrimp pasta dish. This is a great place for a date night or very special occasion for sure! Be sure to save room for their homemade dessert. Plot twist: it may just send your spirit to the moon and back!

Excellent customer service and fabulous menu. Family oriented and they really did make us feel like family! My husband and I brought our baby boy and they were very accommodating! Love this place and definitely coming again!

Food and atmosphere were exceptional. The whole way down to the appetizers were prepared with care and simplicity that the flavors popped. The wine selection is great, and the service was the best.
