Joe Pines is one of the nicest most laid back coffee shops in the areas. I love the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the whole place. The decor is fabulous and the seating is comfortable. I’m not a coffee person so I like the fact they offer Italian sodas and lemonades too. Their cookies are amazing and the staff is always kind and excellent at their jobs.
We ordered laate and their Valentine’s special Pistachio rose latte! Both were nice. Outside there are lovely murals and inside is v nice and soothing to sit and drink coffee. After our long visit to Jefferson we needed this break so much. Staff was nice and welcoming.
Great space in the heart of Marshall! My latte was to perfection as was my partner’s latte with Mexican vanilla bean (decaf, almond milk). The muffin was good as well. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.
Joe Pines is one of my go-tos. The teas are ALWAYS perfect. The lattes are hit or miss. I would say that most of the time I get a good drink that tastes yummy. But there are some days like today that my latte tasted like milk with a little coffee in it. Everyone that is a coffee drinker knows what this tastes like. When you spend $11 for two drinks, and really want your drink, it’s a loss when your coffee wasn’t made right or someone less experienced makes it. I didn’t drink my drink. I gave it away. Taste your drink before you take off.
My husband and I will still continue to come here because it’s a great place to stop at and the atmosphere is always pleasant. The teas are superb and the staff has always been friendly.

Great place for a cup of coffee or tea. From my understanding they make their own syrups and have special drinks that run for a limited time. The Whiskey Pecan latte at the end of 2021 has been my favorite so far.

What can I say about this place? It's really simple. The expression, "First impressions are everything." rings soundly true here at Joe Pine.
I visited this place for a political event, not even knowing that it existed. Ordered a cappuccino, which is really simple, but so many places get wrong. Joe Pine nailed it!
They have three sizes of coffee, and they recommend the smallest for their normal brewed cappuccino, and with good reason. It is bold, but not overwhelming, and there is very little froth on top, which is a great departure away from the overly foamy nonsense you get from Starbucks, and other coffee houses.
The place is quaintly set in the downtown area of Marshall, TX. With several places to sit down inside, and a spacious patio about 1 block away from the historic courthouse, the menu is simple, and the place is spotless. WIFI is available, as you would expect in any establishment of this type, and certainly a college town.
About 5 days later I brought the entire family. Once again they nailed the brewing, and my whole family had nothing but glowing remarks about the place. My only regret is, I have to drive about 1 hour away to get a decent cup of Joe in the Longview/Marshall area.
If you are looking for good coffee, Joe Pine is really the only choice in this part of East Texas.
