Great spot, and amazingly fresh oysters, fresh out of the ocean. I was able to shuck the oysters right on the spot and they sold me a can of beer as well - right out on the picnic bench. Beautiful views and some of the freshest oysters I've ever had. They even had some hot sauce to sprinkle on the top. If you're doing that route from the city to the countryside, this place is a good stop along the way.
Incredibly fresh oysters and very knowledgeable staff! It’s such a cute shop, and located right next to the water. I would recommend that you bring your own oyster knife and lemon (so you don’t have to buy them there)! I asked them to show me how to chuck on a hater and they were very willing to do so :)
Kumamoto: The best. The oyster is slightly sweet and pairs well with its natural salty brine. Don’t use any additional sauce or lemon on this— it’s a waste of an oyster if you do. Honestly, if I came back, I would just eat these.
Golden nugget: Pretty flavorless oyster, so it really tastes like the ocean (in the best way possible). Probably would not get again if I can here.
Great place for fresh oysters to go. Friendly and fast. Bring your ice chest and be ready to take them somewhere else to eat. No picnicking on site.
Came by here on a Friday to pick up a bag of oysters, the lady was really nice, we didn’t have a cooler for the oyster, so they gave us bucket with ice and couple of lemons 🍋 we chuck our oysters by the water and watched the sunset. Oysters was sweets and fresh and clean. Will definitely 👍
Come back again and again to support the locals farms. Thank you
Great service. Amazing product. Bring a cooler. They give you ice. Bring cash. There's an ATM on site but high fees and they only accept cash. And there's nowhere there to actually eat the oysters. But they are harvested daily and I would challenge you to find a fresher shellfish.
Picked up oysters here - Kumamoto and Golden Nugget that were absolutely delicious. The brine is so tasty and the oysters are creamy.
Recommend bringing: cooler, shucking knife (can buy from them), lemon, knife to cut lemon, gloves or cloth rag, bowl to hold shells, cutting board or surface to put oysters on. Also any food, drinks, cups and plates you need!
No picnicking allowed onsite but they have a map of picnic locations.
The first to start farming oyster in Tomales Bay! Top quality. Break out the BBQ!
Best place to buy oysters for me. Super fresh, testy, good variety. Little bit far away from me to visit more often, but I definitely will come back.
Been coming here for years. It is my favorite place to pick up oysters, no comparison. Better prices than anywhere else in the area and they’re delicious. They carry bread and fixings for shucking as well. Love the dogs and love the people here. Heads up they’re cash only and have an ATM on site.
Out of the way but worth the trip. Delicious and fresh seafood. We bought a few bags of oysters and clams to enjoy. They also have hot sauce and ice to assist your picnic.
