The food was great. Fried green tomatoes and okra were cooked perfectly. Hamburger was like right off your backyard grill. Service was southern style with smiles and lots of attention. We will be back soon.

Some friends and I stopped in here yesterday on the way home from Hot Springs - good reviews on Yelp - glad we tried it out! Our table ordered: mozzarella sticks, grits/eggs/sausage, biscuits and gravy, GIANT pancake, and chicken tenders/fries --- ALL the food was excellent and well priced!! Will definitely stop back in if I'm the area again!

Oh my goodness. Great service, delicious food, affordable prices. My side salad was so good, so fresh. 4 of us ate big meals, and our check was $26. You can't beat that!!!! We will definitely be back :-)

This cafe is exactly what you want when you think of country brunch/breakfast. Hands down one of the best biscuits I have ever had in my entire life. It tasted like a cabin if a biscuit can even taste like a cabin. The people who work here too great you like family. It’s just a cozy place with food that tastes home-cooked. Pancakes were perfect. Literally perfect. My little sister is one of those people who only orders pancakes when we go out to eat and she said they were the best pancakes she’s ever had. So I believe her.

Marshall has always needed a restaurant that locals could go and eat good quality food and not break the bank. And now they have it! The Main street cafe is absolutely out of this world good! With that good home cookin, soul filling food served here, i look forward to eating here every chance i get! I have had the privilege to have lunch here for 2 days in a row. Hamburger steak mash potatoes and gravy and a fresh garden salad! You can't get that anywhere else in Madison county....especially for $13.50!!! Great prices out of this world great food and wonderful staff! Highly, Highly recommend! There even open on Sunday for the church community and that is something madison county needed for a very long time and now has!

Stopped in a whim while passing through town. My wife and I had a phenomenal breakfast. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We really loved the biscuits and locally made jams. Everything was delicious. I’d highly recommend stopping at Main Street Cafe if you’re ever in Marshall.

The freshness and simplicity of these homemade dishes & pies is amazing! I highly recommend you check them out. They are also looking for an evening cook so they can stay open later for dinner. Owner and staff are warm & friendly without being over the top. I can imagine that working here would be a family-like atmosphere.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here with each visit. We were in town for 4 days and we ate there 3 of them. It would have been 4 days but unfortunately for us, they’re closed on Mondays. We only tried their breakfast but we’re back this coming week for the Lewis/Rice Family Reunion and we’re bringing a group back with us. I’m sure we’ll try their lunch menu this time. The waitresses are sweeter that southern tea and the atmosphere makes us want to relocate. Marshall is definitely a step back in time! Love it & this place! Thanks again, Clyde

Really nice people, in a neat little building beside the old courthouse. Nice outdoor seating at the rear. Food is fresh and good. You are 150 feet from the river and bridge. We have been going there for 6 years, though we live 10 miles away.

This place is just absolutely amazing. The breakfast we ate was so tasty. The apple butter, pancakes, and the blueberry yum yum is a must. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful while we were here visiting Msrshall.

Comfort food just like granny used to make. We had the eggs and bacon with a side of corned beef hash, hashbrowns, and home fries just so we could sample everything! Can't go wrong choosing any of them and dont forget a couple mimosas. Flavorful and delicious!

Simply the best diner food I’ve ever had. Sausage gravy was unreal. French toast was light and fluffy. Even an affordable avocado toast was on the menu. Everything prepared fresh by grandma and served with a smile by granddaughter. Service was super friendly. Coffee was excellent. Can’t say enough good things about this small town gem.

Great chicken quesadilla! Stuffed heavily with chicken, veggies, and cheese. Ordered jalapeño cheese grits as a side, and they were fine too! Very friendly staff, would highly reccomend.

They call it a cafe but it feels more like a damn good diner. Super friendly staff, quality homemade grub, and great location. We had a nice breakfast with homemade biscuits, a big fluffy pancake, perfect scrambled cheese eggs, sausage, and other good stuff. The food came out quickly and the staff were upbeat and on top of their game. This place is a big step above your classic small town greasy spoon in terms of quality, it’s comfort food yet you still feel “comfortable” when you leave. Plus it was really affordable. We’ll be coming back.
