Review Hina Hot - Marrero

I was skeptical on trying this place because of all the negatives reviews. I've tasted pretty much all around the nola area and we'll this maybe have been my least favorite but it was good. Well this is pretty much everything we had. The egg roll was probably the best out of it all. Lomein had me questioning if I had covid cause it had no taste 😂 The sweet and sour sauce was watery but ok. The chicken wasn't tossed but def can taste the grease. Uhh the rice was ok could of been a bit softer or maybe it was a day old 🥴 Sushi was good.

Just terrible. I ordered General TSOs chicken and it's mostly dough. Those look like big pieces of chicken, but it's not. There's only a small piece of chicken and the rest is batter. The rice was bland. Just a really bad place to eat from.

I ordered the Garlic/Spicy shrimp and unfortunately it had no hints of garlic and was not spicy. It tasted like boiled shrimp and vegetables in its own juices. It tasted and smelled horrible. The rice was stale. I ordered from Hina bc a friend recommended it, but never again.

Small locally owned restaurant. Run by a man and his wife only. Other reviews I've seen are overly critical and do not take this into account. The food is great. Tried everything from appetizers, sushi, salads, soup to full entrees and meals. If you're not in a rush this is a great restaurant and the staff is always looking to make the customer happy.

They should not get any stars the worst place around. I see why the parking lot stays empty. Egg foo young was all onions can’t tell you how it tasted because it was thrown away. Drive a couple blocks more for a better place to eat.

Lowest quality Asian "cuisine" I have ever had in my life. Miso soup is completely clear and more broth than soup. Sushi was lathered with sauce to hide an Itty bitty price of shrimp and just thrown in a container with zero care. Just all around not impressed and will not order from here again.

Wish i could give them 0 star. So fake restaurant. Order sushi but this is what I got and the crawfish rice taste like poison. No recommendation

My experience w/ delivery has been the best. The sushi rolls are awesome. I treat myself to one every weekend, just to say that I tried them all. My favorite so far is the lobster roll

Some of the prices seemed high but I really enjoyed everything I tried.  My friends and I loved the options of Chinese and Japanese food and we had a great time.   My favorite was the baked salmon which sits atop delicious snow crab meat. The waitress was really nice and we could watch the chef making sushi. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful on everything we ordered and I would go back if I am ever in the area again.

Surprised at all the negative reviews..... This place is actually fantastic! My family has a variety of picky eaters-- an "all-American eater", a vegetarian, a pescetarian, and someone who hates seafood. The menu has so many choices, everyone has something for them. I've never been dissatisfied with the quality of food, atmosphere, or the service. Additionally, I've always found it to be a great value!<br/>It sounds like the previous reviewers just had them on off days or something, because this is one of my favorite restaurants.

Wtf?. The food is okay, not great.The thing that really makes me mad, is that I ordered brown rice instead of white rice.They charged me 1.00 extra, which is whatever, BUT its NOT brown rice! Its white rice with soy sauce on it! I know what brown rice looks like and tastes like, this is not brown rice! WEIRD! I will never order from here again.my husband just called and confronted them about it, and they said they did that because they were out of brown rice......so why didnt they just tell us, and why did they charge us extra for it? What if someone was allergic to soy?it makes me wonder what other menu items arent what they claim to be.....Very sketchy. I will never order from here again.If youre on the westbank, get Kim Son they are amazing.

Hina hot, good miso soup and sweet tea, but the sushi was not fresh. They made a good attempt at the presentation, but went over kill on the eel sauce. I guess that they were trying to cover the fact that the fish wasn't fresh. The prices were consistent with other sushi places in the area.

The Sushi is not very good at all and there prices remind me of the more expensive sushi restarants. I did eat here a few times only cause I live real close but I will drive further from now on.
