This restaurant is not far from the park, so you definitely can recover your energy and forces after a long walk. The food was great, at it was the best salmon I ever tried. But the waitress was biased, which make us feel uncomfortable.

Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside window seats have pretty view to the bayou. We were there for the lunch, they have lunch menu. We ordered the oyster po-boy and seafood gumbo, which was very delicious. We already recommended the restaurant to our friends.

Food was just ok. We really mostly just enjoyed beignets and the alligator stuffed mushrooms even though the mushrooms were very tough for some reason, maybe microwaved I don't know. Amazing food, period. Turtle soup was more than I expected, it was so delicious. The soft shell crab was tasty. Service is amazing. Great meal and it's right next to the swamp tour. Highly Recommended.You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in while in town. It is out in the country and totally worth the drive. Half and half platter with catfish and shrimp was amazing. Had the gator stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Good local brewery selection for your drinks and the ambiance is really nice overlooking the byou.

Great environment and wonderful food and service. A great view of a beautiful swamp (including gaters!). A little pricey, but I'd call it worth it. A great place to stop to get a full flavor of New Orleans in a like setting.
