Sonic Drive-in

Passing through Marksville early this morning we stopped at Sonic for breakfast. Big mistake. After struggling to place an order for a no. 14 with sausage and 16 with ham, one with fries and one with tots and a coke zero and unsweetened peach tea with 4 splenda's, an order resembling ours was delivered. I ordered ham and got bacon. I ordered tots and got fries that were stale, cold and hard, obviously last night's leftovers. Husband's sausage was nonexistent and his fries were same as mine. All the fries were garbage and were thrown away. My tea was delivered...no Splenda and we needed to buy a large cup of ice. The server left so fast we didn't even have time to tip her. So we called her back out, ask for the cup of ice and paid her, reminded her of the Splenda and tipped her. She brought the cup of ice...still no Splenda. I got out of the car and walked toward the door as she was coming out and asked for the Splenda. Finally got it. A really rough start to our morning after a really rough night. Next time, I guess it's back to McDonald's.

I always order the #1 mayo no onions, totts and a cherry coke. Today I received mustard onion burger with cherry syrup. I called back to ask for a regular coke instead & I offended whomever made the drink. The girl was yelling and screaming in the background that the drink was made correctly, I was being picky and wanted to make a fuss. Mind you I didn't mention the mustard burger. I was going to give that to my husband. So, the girl comes out, with the drink and says "I hope you like this one" obviously I didn't drink it nor have I been back. Never. Ever.

I usually get the chili cheese coney when I come to the Sonic but this time I decided to try their new Patty Melt. It was pretty 👍 good. Definitely filling, with 2 patties. This one has mustard and mayo with grilled chopped onions. A nice change up. Staff and carhops were great. Made my visit a nice one. In this case, "dine in" is in your car.😁

I ordered my food a hour early on the app not expecting my food to sit for that whole hour got there to get my food no problem tried the fries I ordered and they tasted cold and what I imagine cardboard to taste like I told the girl she rolled her eyes and walked away replacing my order when she returned I thanked her and she once again did her eye roll and smacked her lips only for me to come home and feed my kids the same fries that were reheated when I tried to fix my order .... sonic in marksville has gone way down it use to be my favorite in town!!!

My total was over $8 for an order of onion rings and a strawberry shake. I ate 2 onion rings and about 5 sips of the shake and felt so sick to my stomach. I felt that way for about an hour and had to go force myself to throw up what I had consumed just for my stomach to start feeling better. Needless to say.. that was some funky looking vomit! I won't be returning to this location!
