Sirloin Stockade

The food just isn't very good. My server was nice and the restaurant was clean, the buffet had several items which included a lot of dessert items. I was feeling pretty good about the experience until my last plate of food which I didn't eat. My piece of fried chicken wasn't done and the meat in the fried fish was grey and tasted a little off. I liked the salad in the photo and their seafood salad had a good flavor. Their chicken salad had a strange color, also grey and tasted off but it could have been from seasoning and maybe not spoiled or old but I didn't eat it either. This was Saturday at lunch and there was a steady stream of people coming in to eat. Lunch price for the buffet was just under $12 after tax.

I am rating based on other buffets this one is a 4/5. There was a great selection of meats and fish. Mainly chicken, fish, and sasuage on the lunch buffet. There were many choices for warm sides and veggies and all were great for a buffet. The dessert selection was large. They had cakes, pies, pudding, ice cream, and probably some i forgot. The price was excellenrt 7.99, plus drink. Thats less than a fast food meal ansd the quality far excedes that.

Buffet, the dessert is usually really good. If you make it early in the afternoon, the food will be hot and fresh. Service is good enough - don't get so impatient for a drink refill that you forget it is a buffet. The food is usually decent. I don't recommend any fish served here. If you arrive late, you won't have as good an experience.

I was excited to go to sirloin stockade for their buffet, i was so very disappointed. The food was cold, and the waitress didn't try to make it right. All she could say was the temp was checked and it was normal. I expect my food hot not like its been sitting on a plate a while before i eat it. Keep in mind this was when they just opened, there was no reason for it to be that cold. They got rid of 2 of their buffet tables. This was my first and last time of going since they've opened the buffet back up.

Got to stop here during covid 19 it is reopened the buffet is closed but this was my first time here so that was cool with me! One of the best steaks I have had in a long time! Way better then Texas Road house! For real! The staff is very attentive and caring! They really want you to come back! Good job y’all
