La Charreada

I used to live in the area 20 years ago and used to come here all the time. I was recently back to visit and took the opportunity to come here again, and it's just as good as I remember. The queso is awesome. Brings back memories. They have remodeled but their food has stayed consistent after all these years. Amazing.

4-21-4:45 pm we were both first time customers..waited a bit to get seated. Booth had some type of debris on the surface but was promptly wiped off by our server Jaun. Chips salsa was very good. Extra charge for cheese. 32 oz draft Michelob ultra available. My wife really enjoyed her chicken cheese and rice meal. Very generous serving

Service was iffy we had 2 different servers come to our table to get our drink orders and still took them about 15 mins to get to the table. We had non alcoholic drinks that had about 3-4 spoonfuls of sugar settled at the bottom. We didn’t have any utensils and when we did receive them they were dirty. We ordered 3 entrees which all came out at different times. I’m not sure if I would classify this restaurant as “Mexican food” but if you would like some good Mexican food I would check out the Taco Express right next door.

Horrible customer service. Over half our food was missing we drove 30 min to pick up our food. They was closing and since we couldn’t get back by the time they closed they would not refund our money. They steal from customers and treat them horrible. I would never go there again or recommend them to anyone as they will have your order wrong and over half of it missing and not even give your money back for food you didn’t receive. Downright thieves!
