Torn between 1 and 2 stars, only considering 2 because server was nice. Certainly the food doesn't deserve it. My service was good and fast. She was sweet. The food was just bad. I had heard good things, so I went Saturday night for prime rib. I ordered prime rib, medium, baked potato, butter only, salad with French. I didn't get mashed potatoes because my server didn't know if they were instant potatoes or not. The salad was straight from a bag. Iceberg, red cabbage and carrots. A little limp and warm. No tomatoes, onions, cheese, croutons or anything added. The prime rib came out a bit grey, but was pink once I cut into it. It was accompanied by canned green beans. Imagine my surprise when the meat had no taste at all! My server asked how it was. I told her it had no flavor. She said the owner had told the cook he was not allowed to season it. It tasted like boiled beef. Truly bad! Well, I spent a bit over $20, plus a bit more for tip, and ate a baked potato and part of a salad. At least the server apologized. I wish she had told me when I ordered that it wasn't seasoned. I would have saved time and money.

Where do I start. My first course was the chili which I assumed would be a safe bet. I could not have been more wrong, it was a bowl of sour rancend slip, even the PREPACKAGED crackers were stale. Lord knows how long they had to been sitting around that place in order to be stale. Our next course was the prime rib sandwich with a side of “chippers”which was no more than a pile of gristle on some Texas Toast. The “chippers” were soggy pieces of cardboard that could have been slung across the room and would have stuck on the wall. Basically, you’ll should not be able to stick your fork through a chip and not have it break. The waitress/manager was nothing but nice and accommodating and this star goes to her and nothing else. I highly advise you stay away from this establishment. It’s a real shame since the restaurant that was there before this one was one of the best in the area. Not sure where all these 5 stars are coming from. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The shephard's pie was horrible. I've been to Ireland a couple of times and have had plenty of shephard's pie there and at a few places here in the US. This was the worst one I've ever tasted. The rest of the group I went with thought their food was alright, not too special. The atmosphere wasn't bad and it was clean place. Our server was really nice, too. We did go hoping to catch some sports and I though they had TV's, I don't think the place is set up to chill and just watch a game.
