Tackett's Southern Bar-b-que

Decided to drive out to this business today. It shares space with a drive thru. I ordered a brisket sandwich which had a small amount of brisket compared to most places. It had a little smoky flavor but was a little sour tasting. It came with coleslaw which was slightly creamy with a sweet taste. Also had the mac n cheese which was made with spiral pasta and white cheddar cheese, this was the non-baked version. Very tasty. Also had the corn bread bake, it was their version of corn pudding. It was a little moist but drier than moist and lighter than most versions. Also had the baked beans which had chopped onion, pulled pork in it, had a sweet taste to them. They were definitely the best of the stuff I had.

Husband and I ordered a rack of ribs, a pound of pork and two sides. Of course we couldn't eat everything in one sitting but that was the point in ordering so much. This is our first time having Tacketts and we're celebrating our anniversary. Husband is from Missouri. Hands down the best ribs ever! All of the food was perfect! What a great experience!

Stopped for lunch here about 20min ago. I will definantly be stopping again. Had pork sandwhich side of bbq sauce. It didn't need the sauce. So good. Not dry at all. I ate half the sandwhich without sauce half with, both were amazing. If they do pulled pork that well then I'm going back to try ribs and brisket. Also got a side of cornbread bake, steam came off it when opened the lid.. It was so yummy. Wish I would've ordered a pint of it. Thank you Tacketts southern BBQ Its been awhile since I've had such great food. You guys rock!!
