Link Hot Dogs

Most enjoyable restaurant we have been while in Marion! Unique and fun hot dogs with great thoughtful toppings. We did two the two spicy ones (small ones) and two of the specialty, which were huge and split them between the two of us. Apple slaw and chili are amazing! 5 overall but 4 stars for service just because at 1:30p there was a rush and it was just one guy, but he was busting his but to get to everyone and get their food!

The atmosphere inside is soooo cool! I love the way the restaurant is decorated and furnished, every time you look around you notice a different eclectic thing. It's great! The Food!!!! There were four of us today and two of us had eaten here yesterday! Everyone's food was hot, delicious and served very quickly. I had the Bacon, Mac and Cheese dog and it was great! I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to be able to finish it, the portions are perfect! Usually my wife and I will steal a bite of each others when we go somewhere new but, we were so busy eating our food, the idea of trying the others didn't even cross either of our minds. The service is awesome. As soon as the food was ready it was brought to our table. Most everything is self serve but it's well stocked and everything you could need is there and ready. What a great shop with a really great and imaginative menu. So happy we finally got here!!!

Link Hot Dogs has amazing hospitality towards locals and travelers alike and even better food. I was absolutely shocked at how affordable and tasty they were. I haven't had a veggie hot dog in forever. The hot dog itself was so good I was scared into thinking it maybe real from just how bursting in flavor it was. Overall, if I'm close to this town again I would definitely stop by got another one of their Honest-to-God doggies.

Holy Cow I did not expect it to be this good! I'm not big hot dog fan. I like them well enough, but if I'm doing dogs, I'm usually doing it at home, and it's usually gonna be brats. After several friends insisting I check this place out, I finally decided to give it a shot. First, it's not just hot dogs. It's mostly hot dogs and some brats, but their special is known to deviate. Also, there sides are bangin, but more about that later. The first time I went here, the special was a Taco Grilled Cheese. Yeah, I know, SOUNDS AWESOME! Well guess what, IT IS! It's Taco meat, with red peppers and onions, in a texas toast grilled cheese, with 4 cheeses mind you. Topped off with a beef filled pepper. I went back the next day, and finally tried a dog. Got what's called the "Marion Dog" (pictured), which is your typical Carolina style hot dog. Chili, slaw, onions. I usually add cheddar cheese as well. I was impressed. I didn't expect a hot dog to taste that good. They have enough variety to please everyone, including vegans. Now back to the sides. You might've noticed the mac & cheese in my picture. Yeah, this is the good stuff. So many places have "Mac & Cheese", but those places really just have "Mac, in cheese soup," even the fancier, pricier places. HERE, it's MAC & CHEESE buddy! This is how Mac & Cheese is supposed to be. If you like Mac & Cheese, come here and get you some! Lastly, the environment. This isn't a large place, but there are some table outside. I love the cozy atmosphere. They've done a great job with the place. It's not "wacky" like many hot dog places try to be. It's actually got a bit of a "down-home" feel, and I love it. If you're ever in Marion, NC . . . do yourself a favor and stop here!

Food was spectacular, and that’s coming from a foodie spoiled by the gastro-pubs, food truck festivals and pop-up restaurants of ABQ/TX/CO/AZ. Very reasonably priced and better than some of the restaurants more west of this area. Links works very hard to make it completely unnecessary to drive to Asheville for good food.

The hot dogs are amazing! All beef Nathan’s which you can’t go wrong. Just a basic hot dog with regular toppings will blow your mind but the Cubano dog is another great choice for the more adventurous eater. The flavors mix together so well! The pimento cheese Mac and cheese is a good twist and definitely worth a try. We were honeymooning and came in. We are so glad that we did! Don’t miss Link hot dog! Open on Sundays, praise Jesus
