Friendly service. But the food isn't good. I typically go in Sacramento. And I have a few there I enjoyed. Big as far as this place:(. No. Not good.
The presentation was nice.
But the price and overall flavor. The roll was hot? Idk why.
But I won't go again.

I go with my wife to this great spot often! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I go there many times. The cooking is just great, the staff is helpful and the rates are fair. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant over a decent lunch.

Disappointed with our meal based on the great reviews online. The rice on the sushi rolls was overcooked and we were surprised by how small the pieces were. Our meal was delivered, so maybe eating at the restaurant would be a better experience?

Old style traditional Japanese food, in a good way. Will not find outrageous topping and fillers. Just good home style food. Made with pride and love by the owners. They treat you like honored guests. Where else can you find sukiyaki? Thier Japanese style steak is outstanding. Been going there for over 20 year, and will be back.

We are fairly new to the area and finally tried this place. So happy to have delicious and authentic Japanese food. The owners were very kind and friendly to us. Teka Don had fresh and abundant Tuna and the Katsu Don was tender and savory. Much umami! Tempura was light and crispy. Best green tea I’ve ever had. We didn’t try any rolls, but look forward to trying them next time.

The food was good, but we had to leave before my wife got her order due to how long it was taking them, around 1/2 an hour before they realized we hadn't gotten her food. We were told it isn't usually that long, they were just really busy. The sushi I had was good though.

Food was great but had to wait quite a while just to have our order taken, let alone receive the food we ordered. Probably about an hour before we got our food. Not so sure if our experience was an anomaly but it seemed like it was just a two person operation. My guess is that like any other mom and pop restaurant, they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Need to hire some help to more effectively serve their customers but can't afford to hire said help.
