The Buckley House

This place has an exclusive and high end feel to it. Inside a historic house in downtown Marietta you don’t expect a meal and service to be anywhere this good! Food is delicious and we were told not to order off the menu but to pick from the specials instead. We were not disappointed either. Everything was fresh and paired well together. Adam our server was passionate and knowledgeable about everything and even provided recommendations. We will be back for our next special occasion.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Marietta/ Parkersburg area. The food is made from scratch and seafood is delivered twice a week. The ambiance is nice and the seating area is ok the form of tables in the Buckley house rooms. I’ve tried the lamb in the past too and it was amazingly delicious.

One of the best place to eat in Marietta, OH. As far as I know this is the best option for high end dinning in Marietta. The staff was friendly and efficient. Not quite at the level you might expect for high end dinning, but I'm not sure they have had a good example of what that would look like. They get the job done and are great for the most part. I've not had a bad experience with any of my food choices here. I'd like there to be more parking, but I don't know if there is a way to improve or increase their parking. The tables are kind of jammed into a room and some of them really aren't set up for having a fine dining experience. it does kind of ruin the experience if you get one of the jammed in tables and have to squeeze between the table and a wall, no matter your body shape/size.

Looked as I remember it. Still a nice place to dine. This was my first experience with the new owner. On this occasion we did carry out and the food was good. The outside could use a little more grooming but other than that excellent all around. I will post an updated review when I have a chance to dine in.
