Every time we come here it's consistent. The chefs are amazing! There have been a couple of times we've walked in later in the evening, when no one else was there. They still took us and cooked only for my boyfriend and I. I couldn't ask for better service or food. This is my favorite hibachi place and I will always return.

We are fortunate to have a few good Sushi restaurants in Marietta, so It's not uncommon for me to have Sushi 3+ times per week. I prefer Asahi. The restaurant is in a safe location with good access and plenty of parking. The Sushi is always fresh and prepared expertly by Chef Kevin Cheng. The atmosphere and ambiance are casual and fun, with a Japanese themed decor. I give Asahi my highest recommendation if you want to have great Sushi at a reasonable price in Marietta.
We go here very often for sushi. It's always tasty and fresh. Their pricing is reasonable and it's a nice and clean restaurant.

If you've been here then you already know, if not, you owe it to yourself to check it out. This place is awesome! I've always been a fan of hibachi and these chefs sure know how to put on a show. My 2 year old nephew was floored watching the chef prepare our food, and he absolutely loved the volcano presentation.

This review is for all the times we’ve eaten there, but not the last. If you’re after good sushi look no further. If you’re after regular to sometimes fantastic hibachi- funny enough this is also the place. I’ve most likely had their early bird sushi 30 times and the hibachi 10. My family absolutely loves sushi and this is THE spot.
Tonight oddly enough I wanted to rate them 1 star. Our waitress couldn’t even bring me a glass for a $11 beer. Our hibachi chef screwed up orders and the only “hibachi” gimmick was the onion train. Toss on top with a beer and glass of water- I still ran out of drink. Waitress literally returned for checks.
Plus side to this evening is saved me a lot on tip, plus I really didn’t need to spend $33 on 3 beers. Thanks for limiting me Asahi waitress!
This place has top quality food and the Hibachi cooks are entertaining, polite and professional. Service is great as well. I recommend keeping the rest rooms better care for as the both gender rest rooms need improvements.
Under new management! I hadn't been to Asahi in about a year. Upon our return, we were so glad to see Kevin and "Sue" are the managers (since the 1st week of December)! The food is still great and the prices are good.
Hands down, the best sushi I've had in all the states. Everything from the rolls to sashimi was above and beyond my expectations!
Update: I've been 8 plus times since my original review and I'm happy to say, they're astronomical sushi is legit!
Great food an atmosphere. We eat here every Christmas Eve on the Hibachi side. Chefs are very friendly and entertaining. Our kids 1,3, and 5 had a blast. Can't wait to co ti ie this tradition for years to come.
This place is always top quality food. Pictures in the bowl is their volcano roll, my favorite. Crabstick, avocado, and cream cheese topped with shredded crab mixed with spicy mayo. In the other picture is their Crazy Salmon Roll (Left) and asahi special roll (Right.) They put a lot of time and effort into making each roll amazing. My only gripe is the waiters always seem to take their time, especially once you are done with your food and need the check. The food, however, was so good that I went back and got the same thing 2 nights in a row. If you don't mind the rolls being on average $11+, it is a fantastic choice and you cannot go wrong.
