Memories Margate

I wish I could give this place negative stars it was that terrible. We paid a $20 cover to go into a place that was not even fun and was mostly a significantly older crowd with very old fashioned music. The drinks were overpriced but that wasn’t the worst part. We were supposed to meet friends there but they didn’t let them in bc one of the boys was wearing a “white t-shirt” when I asked the security guard if there was a dress code he said there wasn’t one and most of the guys in there were wearing white t-shirts. We all left and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. So discriminatory and for no good reason, even if they let u in u won’t have a very good time anyway so not worth the hassle. Ur better off going next door to maynard’s or tomatoes it’s cheaper and way more fun

It's meant for all ages who want to hear music a little differently and just have fun. Jerry is an icon in the profession and I wish I can have 25% of his energy and I'm 60 years old. He works his tail off to show you a great time. True there clubs that just spin " vinyl " but Jerry makes it come alive with his endless energy.

I wish I could rate this place lower than 1 star. Jerry and all of his workers are extremely discriminatory. Was inside long enough to buy one drink that I didn’t even get to take a sip of before getting kicked out for “looking too young” and “violating the dress code” which was not posted anywhere or verbalized by the men outside checking IDs and taking $10 for the cover. Jerry threaten to call the cops when I asked for a refund for my drink. Don’t waste your money here

I went to this place because my friends and clients that owns homes in margate told me i would have a blast. I never even made it to the door. The older gentlemen sitting at the front door collecting the $10 they where charging everyone yell to us that i could not come in. Why.... because i was wearing a V-neck . Then he said i was wearing a white V-neck. I said to the guy my shirt is not white. It was tan. He said either way it’s a V-neck. I said one of my other friends has a V-neck on and you did not tell him he can’t come in. At this point all 6 of us decided to walk away! Their happen to be two men coming up in actual WHITE V-NECKS! I told them they may not get in. But i said let’s see. They let them BOTH in as i watched from the side and he watched me watch. It was nasty and i felt mortified. I will never step foot in that place. And i will be letting every client and every friend who own homes there to never go there. My friend asked where they’re dress policy was posted. And he said we don’t have in posted. I would have thought for how strict they where to me the would have up up every where. I do not recommend this place.
