I hate to give this restaurant such a low score but honestly we may have just been there on a bad night. The waiteess was obviously doing her best but was clearly over worked. The Chicken Tortilla soup was good but not over the top. My wife's salmon was way overdone and dry and the rice pilaf was not great. I had the stuffed chicken which I thought was a unique dish and I enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes were also very good but I had ordered french fries which eventually came. They were excellent. The asparagus was almost fried with no hint of oil and very well seasoned. The star of the evening had to be the fried artichoke hearts. Very different and superb appetizer. The setting of this restaurant is very nice. There is ample outside seating in the courtyard and plenty inside in the dining room. This is a lovely hotel with a lot of character. I didnt see any celebrities, and I am not so sure I would return for another dinner. The chef obviously has geat potential, probably just needs some help in the kitchen.

We find this place open in marfa to go have a dinner. We were sitted at the bar sit and had to wait bartender or server for while to get drink and order to food. This was the only issue but once we got our drinks and food it was pretty worth to wait for. I like their fried steak with jalapeño gravy on and pistachio crumbles. It was so yummy. And cocteils were really good as well.

We were hoping other reviews about the long wait time were outliers but it looks like that may just be how this place runs. Waited over an hour for food despite maybe only 4 other occupied tables. Once the food arrived, it was cold and not great. Price definitely wasn't worth it. Our waitress was so kind and apologetic; she was the bright spot of the evening+

So dissapointed. The service was good but the food was not. My wife had a vegetable plate with rice in which she said the rice tasted as if it had been made earlier and rewarmed. I had a burger and the meat just tasted very oddly, so much so that I didn't finish it so as not to get sick. I also asked for medium and it was well done. My son got a pasta salad and the peppers on the salad were normal green peppers, and were not cleaned, left with all the seeds. I let the server know we were dissapointed and she said, OK, and walked away. I know times are tough so I paid, left a good tip and left. It's too bad because it really seems like a nice place to eat.

We’ve eaten here before, but something has changed. Like other people are saying, it has a horrible wait time. We made a reservation for the patio that was not honored. Also, it shouldn’t take an hour to prepare food when the restaurant has so few people eating there. Also, the stuffed chicken is horrible. There was very little “stuffed,” and the chicken was dry and tiny (maybe a five-ounce chicken?) $26 chicken shouldn’t be either of those. Skip this one. Even if they cut the prices in half, you’re better finding a meal elsewhere.
