It's a fantastic addition to a small New England sea town. The donuts are large and very good (though not amazing) and the food over all is pretty darn good. It's a great spot to pop in (instead of Starbucks) before you head over to the Lighthouse or Fort Sewall. The staff is very polite and wonderfully kind. They seem to realize they are going to be seeing the same people daily and truly enjoy it. Go for the donuts stay for the coffee.

I’m disappointed. I’ve been going here since they opened. My wife walked down with my son and got me my usual. Haven’t been since the spring but if these are the donut they’re selling I’m done. This is usually covered in the maple with a hefty helping of the bacon. This is pathetic.

Donuts are great. But it took them 45 mins to make a simple egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. And at $9 it’s not worth it. There are plenty other places in town that are quicker and cheaper and tastier. They could at least warned us they were short staffed in the kitchen. Won’t be getting a cooked breakfast anytime soon! Go to Mookies, Maria’s or A1 Plus

Love this place with but one caveat- They need better control of their display cases to keep flies out. Not, mmm, appetizing. 'Nuff said, I hope - notice I'm still rating them 5-star worthy. Think 'Union Square Donuts' at 1/2 the price. Or better! You can check out my review of that Somerville establishment on this very site. The folks at Dandee have a fabulous selection when they're open - which I hope they'll consider doing again soon - We in Mass. are half-way to herd immunity - have you heard? - as I'm hearing today on the radio. I appreciate their caution and hope they'll get back soon, with tighter glass cabinetry and, otherwise, their same great sweets!!

Cute spot... great food. Amazing doughnuts! 3/8/19 Food is still great, but due to lack of staff service has become extremely slow. I'm moving review from 5 to 2 stars until more people are hired.

If you come here expecting food, or service, in a reasonable amount of time, don't sit down to eat. My wife and I waited in our booth for 15 minutes, made eye contact with the waitress several times, and didn't even receive so much as a "welcome", or "I'll be right with you" the entire time. This storefront is obviously catered to those standing in line for donuts and coffee, not the "restaurant" side of the business. As long as there are people in line at the door for donuts, you won't see help or service. Thanks for nothing Dandee!
