Casa Mia Restaurant

First time visitor, will absolutely come back. All three items we ordered were excellent. We ordered the Octopus Carpaccio, the Alla Mariana and the Porkchop Ripiena. All were great. The Ripiena especially so! A group walked in just as my order was brought to me - one of them wondered about it, and ordered the same. My partner did not like the canoli that much. I hoped for a better beer selection (not much of a wine person, though the glass she had she enjoyed). Very welcoming place. Will be back - and bringing friends along!

This has been my favorite restaurant in Marblehead since it opened. The food and service were always excellent. However, Saturday night, an out of town friend and I had a reservation for a nightmare. First, I ran into colleagues siting outside who finally left,as there was not a server to be found. Next, my friend and I waited 45 minutes before we summoned someone for a drink which never came until we reminded her that we had no drinks and no menus. We asked for bread which took half an hour to be delivered and 5 minutes later someone came and removed it from our table. When the menu arrived, the restaurant was out of half of the apps, as well as several of the main courses. My order arrived missing half of the ingredients. When I asked, I was told that they were out of the ingredients, which should hve been explained before placing the order. Then, my friend ordered dessert but they were out of three of four choices. I will give it another chance but if this is what I can expect in the future, it is yet another Marblehead restaurant which will likely not make it much longer. Very sad as it is my go-to place for out of town guests.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Casa Mia. We were so delighted with the quaint atmosphere, the warm welcoming staff, and the delicious food. Everything was just perfect, and loved the pumpkin ravioli special! The pasta is homemade and truly delicious, and you must try the famous spumoni for dessert! The restaurant was spotless, and they placed tall clear barriers between tables-what a fantastic idea and made us feel very safe! We will definitely be back.

The Manager of Casa Mia Cucina Italiana at 261 Washington St, Marblehead, MA incorrectly insisted to my wife and me last night (October 8, 2021) that my Groupon only included 2 pasta dishes and did not include the 2 salads or the 2 deserts as Groupon's "About this Deal" clearly states. See below: Groupon's "About This Deal" Type of cuisine: Italian What’s included in Prix Fixe Pasta Experience: One pasta per person One salad per person One dessert per person View the menu and prices Ambiance: Italian dining room decorated with vintage photos and traditional elements I am concerned that other Groupon users have also been mistreated and that some will be in the future. The restaurant's owner should ensure that the policies he/she agrees to with an outside organization are clearly understood by the restaurant's managers.

We ordered Casa Mia to celebrate our anniversary during the quarantine. It arrived still warm and was wonderful. The original drop off was missing our cannoli order. About an hour later they delivered extra cannolis, an additional dish and a bottle of wine. Thank you so much for making our anniversary special even if we were not able to come to the restaurant in person!
