One of the BEST places we have eaten at, since we have been in the Keys! Little , hidden gem, with AMAZING food (sushi was favorite) , lots of options for everyone, on the menu! Great atmosphere on the water. We saw a manatee up close! We will be back there for sure !
I had the immense pleasure of dining at Castaways in Marathon, and let me just say, it's a hidden gem you won't want to miss! From the outside, you might not expect much, but trust me, the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" couldn't be more accurate here.

First off Selina our server was great. If you go and you should, ask for her. They had a large selection of Sushi and seafood offerings. The Mahi stuffed with shrimp and scallops was the best I ever had. I will make this place my number one stop in Marathon.

Mahi fish with castaway special was super great with wasabi sauce. Smoked nicely cooked.

Marathon has a true treasure in this restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the folks are friendly. Super fun place. Quirky decorations that draw from the local fishing culture. Brian was super helpful with recommendations and had lots of cool stories about fishing the local waters. The golden tile was a delicious delicate fish and the lionfish was also very tasty. A fun surprise was seeing a few
Our server Christine was very friendly and fabulous at her job . Best server we have ever had . Had the lion fish sushi roll and coconut shrimp- both were delicious. Service was fast !!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Castaways Restaurant in Marathon, FL, and it was an excellent experience. Despite its unassuming exterior, the food was an absolute delight, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend giving it a try – sometimes the best places are the hidden gems!
