I’ll come right out and say that with some decent sticky rice and wooden chopsticks (not skinny metal ones please) this neat little place could be five stars! They don’t have a huge menu of food but what they do have is very good (except for the rice) and the prices are really reasonable. Kimchi is nice and fresh - could be a bit hotter. The pickled daikon side was good too. I could recommend a garnish or side of seaweed sheets. Put a bottle of rayu (羅油)？ on the counter so we can spice up our main dish. That would go well with bulgogi and rice and kimchi.

Owner is super cool and nice. Wife made a request for the korean scallion pancake. This is not on the menu but he said he could make it. Good stuff! Too bad maplewood does not allow him to make noodles. Def coming back.

Amazing chicken. It's super crunchy and the sauces are awesome. All of the sides are good, but the kimchi goes especially well with the chicken. For something a little different, check out the bulgogi sushi. It's made with some of their bulgogi (beef I think), artificial crab, egg, and veggies. Sounds weird but tastes great!

Fresh and delicious Korean quick bites are the way to go. Had a go with the popcorn chicken in brown sauce and it is my new favorite. Can't wait to come back and try some more.

My favorite was the chicken, but the rice did not compliment it well. Was not a fan of that ginger rice. Only down side was I came to get some spicy rice cake but they didn't have any made until later afternoon and I could not wait around for it.

Really fantastic food. I had the Bulgolgi tacos with a side of Kimchi. (Just under $11 total). It was really good. Will definitely be making a point to return.

I absolutely love this place. The owner of the company is absolutely amazing. Great vibe from the employees and the food is excellent. Cooked fresh. I highly recommend Shekima Seoul Food.
